@@godbody5993 Wheel must spin, not very freely to spin as there will be some resistance , but must spin. Unless brake caliper is holding brake disc , so release brake lever to verify that it was not the problem there ( maybe brake caliper need to be adjusted if it is locked up?, i have a brake adjustment video if needed ) You can also remove rear brake caliper and see if wheel will spin
Hi! I want your opinion. I have a similar scooter but with smaller wheels and I wanted to try to replace the rear wheel with the wheel that has a freewheel hub for freewheel with the sprocket (I saw parts selling on Aliexpress: rim that has screw holes for the disk rotor on one side and threads on the other side, freewheel with sprocket, tire, etc.). So kind of like on the bicycle - when you spin pedals you apply power and you go, but when you do not spin pedals - your rear wheel spins freely. Do you think it makes any sense? For example when you go downhill - your scooter will not spin the motor, because you do not apply any throttle, but as soon as you push the throttle - it will apply power and make the scooter go. Am I crazy? LOL
I was thinking on the straight road (or downhill) when you get up to speed, wouldn't it roll much longer when you have a freewheel and the chain is not spinning the motor all the time (and possibly slowing down the scooter)? Maybe this would increase the range but not by much...@@You-can-fix-it
@Jerry-yj3uy no, it will not help you to slow down nor saving energy. You will just end up of having extra maintenance on chain and free wheel sprocket , as sooner or later it will get worn out or seized from moisture. I would not change it
Brilliant man! I appreciate that you showed that battery actually fitting back in. Brilliant idea! Your awesome.
Stay safe
How do you fix a electric scooter the back wheel doesn't move I think it's locked
@godbody5993 my advice is to verify if motor is locked up, which means seized up , than you need to replace it .
I never used it this is how they sent it to me

@@You-can-fix-it I haven't done anything yet but you try to make it run and the noise starts it jump a little bit but that's all and this is brand new
Do you have a link for the foot rest? Where to buy ?

And what is your main reason of having that style of a hub? Saving energy ?
