I am from bundelkhand(Jhansi) here also we have the same devta(daive)culture and we celebrate it in almost the same manner.I don't know why people say North or South culture. have you ever been to kannur, calicut. etc the malabar region which also holds up the culture and keep it close to the heart? like bhootha kola of mangalore, northern kerala has theyyam and thira which has a lot of deep cultural values and are deep rooted in the people's mind. Dont be misguided by propagondas. also, dont blabber something without even knowing about our culture. southern states have more cultural values and roots imbibed in their hearts when compared to northern states
