My husband's great-great grandparents lived in the Palace from 1885 to 1889.

My adopted Navajo grandmother works at the Palace of the Governors selling her handmade jewelry amongst the other natives who do the same as well.

The 'amulet' described as being attached to a babies blanket (at 6:00) is a very old Sephardi Torah pointer. The tip of the finger is broken but i'm positive about the ID. Looks to be from the early 18th century and was used by Jews to read the bible pointing out the place of the currently read Hebrew word.
