My wife and I went their many years ago. At that time it was all DC with each train running on a separate loop with its own transformer. The secenry was absolutely amazing and yes it was awesome as well. We were very fortunate when we saw the layout. We went on a weekday during school time when they they first opened in the morning. I believe their was only one other couple seeing the display when we where their. I highly recommend NORTHLANDZ. Mostly HO scale. It gave us a lot of Ideas for our own DCC 400 square foot HO layout.
Minature Wunderland in Hamburg has litterally double the trackage. This place's advertising is really grating sometimes when combined with the fact they refuse to use the actual layout in marketing material.
Just a little confused. Miniature wonderland in HAmburg is literally many times the size of this model...I mean it's cute and well done but no where near the world's largest..this layout might...maybe fit on there airport. Yes they have an h.o. airport maybe look at their video
@@db1566 actually it is one continuous Layout. They can drive a Train through the whole thing. Otherwise they wouldnt have gotten the official World Record. The connecting rails are just hissen.
