Ok but I think for the top ranks, it should still stay + 5 points for winning and -50 for losing. I think if you are one of the best yba players, you should be winning 10 times or more than you are losing.
I think that yba does not have enough players to matchmake fairly for 9 different ranks. I feel like they should shrink it down to like 6 or 5 and add some of the changes you talk about instead so that it would be easier to pair you with someone closer to your rank. (Iron, silver, gold, diamond, crusader, ascended) Also one time I played a match, got kicked for exploiting immediately after I dashed due to lag, and lost 50 RP. Had me crashing out fr fr.
Yba being on roblox a platform that already has multiple issues of its own, now with a horrible balancing team that has no real logic and a game with multiple issues of its own shouldnt punish you this hard for even losing once in it.

I haven’t watched the video yet but here are obvious flaws: way too many ranks, especially with subdivisions, you lose way more than you gain, you can win 4 times in a row then lose once to not gain anything There not being a clear indicator for checking how close you are to a certain rank, like a bar after a match or in the matchmaking lobby (character menu does NOT count)

a game like yba with so many alts and smurf should never punish you so badly for losing to somebody at a lower rank, nuff said
