I'm really grateful for sharing the stories from your career, like those weird situations when tape's line was on the side or when the mud failed and they took a sample from the wall to test and why you don't want to add the soap into the mud or anything like that. Love this channel, Doc gives me motivation for work every day and that is absolutely true. Thank you so very much!
never even thought of taping with the not creased side cause i set up the roll in my holder to have the crease up when pull it out so can fold it for angles. whats with all screws in the field is that code out there?
Found your channel and the video on bullnose edges. I'm searching for information and videos to know if it's possible as part of a renovation to round square wall corners on an existing build. Idea is to put more of a Southwest or Mexico-ish feel with well-rounded wall beads and curved doorways. Sort of like, cut away the existing square corner to the studs and fashion a wide bullnose edge for a well-rounded appearance. But I don't know what supports the contour I'm trying to build with the wide paper tape. Thoughts? Maybe a content idea for a future video??
If you're going to replace bull nose for square corners you have to cut it back pretty far. I've done it but it's a mess. I just recently replace my bull nose with square and had to add drywall.
Whatever you do , DO NOT use the tape inside out , it can very dangerous to your health and will not pass inspection 😄👍🏼 Happy Thanksgiving to all ✌️✌️✌️

Yep,sheeters dropping the sheets on the floor causing edges to damage, used to drive me mental having to cut it out, cheers
I always thought they had magic elves that licked one side of the tape
Happy Thanks Giving Doc. God Bless, sir.
Different sides isn't the reason people say a certain side (creased side) to the mud. Curious if you ever asked the manufacturers?
I have

Yes that's my next video
I stopped using paper after the first time I tried fibafuse. It's magic.
I'm a carpenter/handyman/jack of all trades, and fibafuse removed the variable of mud wetness and I've never again had a paper tape bubble.

@@THEDRYWALLDOCTOR1 I want to do the reverse. Have square, want WIDE bullnose. Let's say a 3" bullnose instead of a small 1" curve.
Thanks for this . I always wondered if was true or not .
