- Kunju Chanchalo is #folk song from Chamba , #Himachal Pradesh. This song is based on a famous #love story of Kanju and Chanchalo. Kanju was a boy of a low caste and Chanchalo, of a higher caste, richer, who lived in a city. They loved each other but Kanju was not treated well in the village. One day they broke all barriers and got married and Kanju went to a distant land to earn a living. The song describes Chanchalo's waiting for her lover Kanju to return.
