I remember when I read Robert saying that A Night Like This was originally Plastic Passion and I couldn’t really imagine how but finally after all these damn years I get to hear it! Thank you
It was in the tape they originally sent to the label if I'm not mistaken. Plus I know I saw an interview where Robert mentions the original Plastic Passion sounding just like A Night Like This. No sources for this at the moment so I could be wrong, but it's just what I remember reading.
l'idée de la vidéo est de comparer la version démo de Plastic Passion de 78 qui contient des éléments de composition identique a A night Like This de 86. (puisque faut tout dire)

Hey buddy. I think this video got mention in Curepedia. If this is the correct one, then congratulations! You're part of cure history now.
From Cassette tape to 32 track studio.
They should make this a song but obviously remaster it because this sounds amazing already I always come back to listen to it
roughest demo sound ever. Love The Cure though... I am looking forward to the new 3 cd's
Dude how the hell did you find this?
Plastic passion Bowievien je trouve
I think I have a much better sounding version of this
The original Plastic Passion sounds so much better than the later punkier version.
I don't think Plastic Passion is legit. Doesn't sound like The Cure, and doesn't sound at all like Robert. Where is it from?
I first heard Plastic Passion in like 1990. It's always been a Cure song.
But I dont know why the hell people think it is the same song?
It's the B Side to the Boys Don't Cry single, and is on: Boys Don't Cry album, and also on Join The Dots box set.
Not at all. I'm speaking of this version.
I've been listening to The Cure since 1983 by the way...

Le son est a chier ; - (
C'est clair que le son est à chier on reconnaît à peine la voix de Robert Smith
