forbes didnt even really have a coach last year but dan and witt i hope they can do something to him lol
I was going with Forbes as well. Hall of famer and best all-time CB Darrell Green was saying that he wasn't used/coached right in his rookie season. Under new coaches, I expect Forbes to be better as well. Definitely come with a part 2.
Great list. I also believe those 3 will breakout. I also have a couple of my own. Jamin Davis. They are moving him to edge. I know there is only 1 Parsons, but with Jamin speed i think edge will be a good role for him. I think this will be his best season. Amari Rodgers, if this guy can stay healthy i hope there is room to use this guy with Ertz and Sinnot on this team. I wonder if he could be used as a big WR. Brian Robinson. I know he was good last year, but i believe we didn’t even use him enough. EB called 12 running plays all last season. With this guys hands and size boy he’s a threat at both running and passing. Watch Anthony Lynn turn Robinson into a very VERY gifted RB in this league.

When a defense goes from having no LB's, to some of the best, everything changes. The DL can now concentrate on their own job & not compensating for a weak LB corps, which means less time for opposing QB's to pick our DB's apart.
Are you a Commanders fan? Just wondering if you're being biased. I want to believe that things will be much different in DC but it's really hard to get my hopes up since I've suffered through 25 years of false hope, bad football that I've gotten to the point where I'll believe it when I see it. I get we have a new owner, new GM, new coach, new everything so it does give me more hope than in the past but I'm still very cautiously optimistic.

Ekeler left, Ekeler right, getting close to the end zone, every drive. I see the old players stepping up like they should. Kingsbury struggles with the proper play calling. Harder games are early in the season. 2 - 3 will be fine. End with at least 8 wins, which in the NFC East means playoffs are possible!

We can't afford him and then try to add on the next couple of years he's great player but fo we wanna sacrifice our future for the now I love the IDEA of that my friend but the reality is is there a true reward from acquiring a guy who will.demand top 10 wide receiver money. Everybody be hating on jamin he is not strictly playing DE. He still had a very good statistical year considering he missed games and had shitty coaches. He will take another step. If he jjst stays healthy he will have 100 tkl 3 sacks 2 FF 1 INT would be a hell of a year

I had forgotten that RR made a comment about going 8-8-1 off his roster and the new regime winning the SB, and send him his ring. It is amazing how far from reality RR was about his team. Consider the turnover under AP, and many of the remaining players still under rookie contracts so they are cheap and we can see if they have anything in their tank, it is hard to find players that were brought in by RR worth keeping. Also considering some players are still on the bubble to produce enough to keep, such as Dotson, Brown, Tinsley, Davis, Milne, B Daniels, Turner, Stromberg, Lucas, Wylie, Mathias, Jones, Forbes, and St Juste, this roster could have considerable turnover next year with the 1-year contracts with AP.
With like the 4th or 5th highest cap space well be able to retain those who perform well. And AP has that brad stevens-esque way to jus rob other GMs
Has DQ ever worked with a DB as light as Forbes weight wise? If so how did that DB do?
I think for the scheme of the defense he’ll rap with DQ but for technique and position/1 on 1 coaching will be from Joe Witt who is responsible for a lot of DBs making that leap in playing ability

I think we will win 6 or 7 games this season with the growing pains and office that was gutted but rebuilt very well. If we do find ourselves in the next draft in the middle of the pack TRADE BACK BUILD THE LINE AND LOOK FOR SOME EDGES I like jamin Davis to DE as well

50+ year Wash fan.......Every team has potential when the "IFs" work out. And we got a lot of them. The job of the front office is to find and address those "IFs". That can be done in may ways. With 20+ new faces on the roster, entirely new coaching staff, front office, and owner, MUCH has been found and addressed. The problem arises not when it is acknowledged there are more "IFs", that is always the case. The problem arises when those "IFs" are acknowledged, but NOT doing what CAN be done to minimize their impact. I LOVE what the new owner/ coaches have done so far. I am not sure many could do as much as has been already done this off season.......BUT, to convince the fans that the LT/ LG position can not be evaluated until camp with pads is a recipe for disaster. LT right now has a 3rd round Coleman listed as starter with Lucas at 2nd,LG Allegretti and Chris Paul 2nd. There is NO excuse to not do everything possible to bring in 1 or 2 more proven players to throw in that mix. Bakhtiari and Williams are both TOP performers and while they both have health issues in the past/ recovering from......they bring added depth, and competition to make the rest try even harder, while giving some PRO BOWL insight. Even if those 2 only play half the season, that is 8 games JD wont have to pretend to be Forrest Gump. It would also allow us to move players on the line around for best performance instead of covering up holes. I hope the CB room improves as well, as it should, but the same thoughts go out to Gilmore. Year 1 with all our changes from top to bottom has our competition guess Dont squander that to "wait and see" till year 2.
Dan Quinn has been interviewing each year, and it took a bottom feeder to higher him. I do like Dan Quinn. However, Behlichik, Caroll, and Vabrel most likely passed. Ben Johnson and Mike McDonald openly passed on the Commanders. That we know. Currently, we have no left side of the offensive line. After recovery, Charles Leno will sign with a playoff team like the Chiefs. Biadasz is average until after this year's draft. There are now 3 centers that will catapult past him. Actually, 4 once Cooper Beebe makes the transition and starts for the Cowboys. 3 years in a row, we drafted in first round a skinny QB, corner and receiver. Doug Williams made the statement years ago after drafting Daron Payne that you win with the big boys.
You can’t fix everything in one off-season We had the most turnover of any roster in the NFL we were that trash Let’s see what Jayden can do before. We just write him off his size didn’t stop him in college Bill Belichick gets a lot of hype but he’s not done anything without Brady. Ben Johnson clearly isn’t the guy he couldn’t even turn them down like a man the team had to be in the air for him to send a text to say yeah he’s not feeling it Mike McDonald has never been a head coach before we’ll see how he does and Mike Vrabel while he does have a coach of the year award he’s never been to a superbowl as a coach even with Dan losing his that’s still better than anything we have done in my lifetime i’m 29. The Redskins haven’t won a playoff game since I was 11 and it was three days after my 11th birthday because my birthday is so early in the year January 7, 2006 they have literally gone 18 years without winning a playoff game. I have coworkers at my part time job that have literally gone from birth to graduating high school without seeing them win a single playoff game The Redskins are also the only team To not have won 11 or more games in the 21st century, as a matter of fact, they haven’t done it since they last to the Super Bowl, which was before I was born, of course Dan Snyder bought the team when I was four and he sold it in July of last year. We can’t just expect nearly 25 years of dysfunction to be fixed in less than a year

I’m concerned about our defense honestly. Lost a lot of good talent. A lot of new pieces on the backend. The line is overrated, and our linebackers are still to be seen how they pan out but they haven’t been a good group in the past.
