We can also use tire shine to slow the process of fading. My activa dash is still 70-80% as new. Give it a try, once a week after washing.

After around 2 years my Jupiter's dash started fading a bit.
Whenever I apply some wax or dash polish, it shines temporarily and gets back to original soon.
Instead of painting like this, we can remove the parts, paint it and fix it back. This will reduce to risk of the paint impacting the other parts and body paint of the bike.
