Oh yes, we over on the East Coast have been getting pummeled with snow. Me being in NY north of the city...yea we know how to deal. Though the funny thing is my area got less snow than the NY city limits this time. However, I am grateful because I have to do all the plowing and shoveling on my own at the moment because my wife is very very pregnant at the moment. (A good thing of course)

I read The Last Wish a couple years ago when the first season of the show came out, and I had the same hesitance as you because I also don’t really like short stories. I’ve been meaning to reread it because I feel like I’d appreciate it so much more now! I really want to complete the whole series

I'm currently reading the second one (second prequel) which is the second short story collection before the full series gets started and I'm loving it. You really can't tell they're short stories. Definitely recommend continuing with the series, so far it just keeps getting better!
