Just took my RBT exam today and PASSED! This was my second time taking it and I can assure you you’re the reason I passed this second time!! I bought your combo package and it really helped me. Thank you so much! I will recommend your videos to future RBTS! 😊
I passed my exam today!! Thank you so much... I watched all of your videos and it helped me a lot... Your make the terms easy to understand... Thank you 😊
I really love your videos and I would like to make a request if possible if I may do so. Lol.. would it be possible if you could go in deeper detail on pos and negative punishment... I see myself getting very confused on area ... Also could you please also review more on the interval schedule I seem to really get confused on it too... Lol.. I take my test again on April 6th and I listen to your videos every day because u are the only teaching style I understand... Thank you so much for your time in working on videos every week... I greatly appreciate it and u totally rock.
You are really doing a great job and thank you so much. I understand that 'preference assessment is not a reinforcer assesment' in all the 4 types. but in your video "Complete RBT task list study guide..." i see the forced choice and free operand option being marked as reinforcer assessment in brackets. kindly clarify
Hey, Tharuun, I'll take a look! You are right though, a preference assessment is not a reinforcer assessment. A reinforcer assessment is its own separate assessment.
The question you have for Paired Stimulus you have an iPad and a cookie. It was my understanding that you don't present edibles and tangibles at the same time. That you place edibles with edibles and tangibles with tangibles and etc. So why do have an iPad and a cookie for an example when depending on the child's mood, the cookie could fill them up and then you don't have much of an assessment. Or am I wrong?
Hey, Danielle, good question. There is no rule against what two stimuli are presented together. Although the motivation might be different for the cookie depending on when the child last ate, the same could be said for the iPad depending on how much time the child recently spent on the iPad. What we want to establish during preference assessments are potential reinforcers for our clients.
