Back in the day when the BBC took risks and satire was still alive rather than in cabinet. Poor Froglet. He looks like Farage.
"On their own, people can be as loving and generous and tolerant as Clangers ..."
Where do I get a visa to the Clanger's Planet?
Makes me weep. This would be seen as dangeroulsy subversive now.
Clangers trying to incite unrest?
Unfortunately still the same old unequal first past the post nonsense system in Britain.
2024 anyone?
Awesome ending.. I watched it all. Just need a Nesquick now and I’m set. :)
Bit of a side swipe at the milk snatcher.
Brilliant, loved it as a child
"Are you listening to me?"
ANARCHY!
certainly an anarchist message in there, pretty sure =)
Clangarchy!
The Clangers have the right idea ❤
Now doubt one of the "offended immigrants "will complain about the use of the word "British"..have to love the soup dragon💚
I love the Soup dragon ❤
I wonder why it doesn't have an intro or credits sequence like the other episodes?
Oliver Postgate made it entirely single-handed in about three days. It was then shown just the once, at 5.35pm on 10th October 1974.
@@dunebasher1971 Yeah, for the longest time the creators thought this episode was lost forever. I think they only discovered a copy of it exists in 2017 or something. Hopefully it might get polished up and given a proper release now.
No soup for froglets lmao
