I'm a Kumasi born and bred but currently living in the UK. I had been recording on drill beats in my native language (Twi) way before ASAKAA came into existence but the discouraging responses I got from some non-believers of the craft compelled me to ignore my then found sound to delve into Afrobeats but ever since ASAKAA was introduced by these young legends, I no longer felt the need to hide that side of my craft.
These fellow Kumerican artists of mine safeguarding and showcasing the all new ASAKAA genre should be preserved, protected and celebrated.
ASAKAA to the world and beyond. It's here to stay FOREVER and yet to even grow LARGER!!! ✊🏾💯🇬🇭🌍
