94-Everyone was broken,so everyone was balanced. Rugal waz just...just Rugal.
95-To hell with logic and balancing. Just make the health bars bigger, put in a new team and 1 new boss character.
96-Just got word from the big boss! Reinvent the entire engine,and put in a shit ton of new characters! Plus,make soundtrack memorable,damnit!
97-Okay,we went overboard on that last game. Guys,very little music this time and go ham on the ambience.Also,end the story on an awesome narrative.Good luck!
98-Piss on the story!To hell with narratives and plot devices!Bring every character you can into this game,and i do mean EVERY character!Also,somebody give Ryo his fireball back,damnit! People are starting to say that we ripped off Dan Hibiki!

KOF95 still the better game of all for me, from the KOF96 onwards the fighters became lighter and easier.
97' sucks because NO MUSIC.
97 probably was best fighting game ever made, cus the dark vibe you get while playing is different than any other KOF series.
98 is just a combination of all classic series from 94 to 97 which makes it the most popular but not the best

ralf's super punch can do up to 95% normally. if it's used as a counter it can KO your opponent in one hit.

Ralf super punch can only do 95% damage normally, it can only be a one-hit kill if used as a counterattack.

For me it's KOF and Guilty Gear. I love the game play and the style. Although Arc system works is composed of some kof and capcom developers? Maybe that's why.

I wish they would release this as a PS2 classic for the PS4. I also dig the 3D background which is apparently exclusive to Sony console versions of the game.

Can anyone tell me how to use those different supers for characters? For example I know B. Mary's 3 supers but in the video she's using way more different versions of the supers. I play the arcade version on fightcade, is that the difference?

Yamazaki had another SDM, when he gets both hands out his pockets rapidly punches for a 30 hit combo. Was this omitted from this version? I remember it from the PS1 and Arcade. (shown to me first by the legend Ryan Hart)
