Great Music is timeless, eternal. We baby boomers, who were the ones listening to The Four Seasons on AM RADIO, and reading about them in Sixteen & Tiger Beat magazines, feel privileged. The 60's tunes are just as immortal as the Classical Music from the Masters like Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Strauss, Chopin, etc. Of course, we were not aware of the difficulties or the tragedies especially the ones Frankie Valli endured. I only hope ALL the affection we original fans sent (& send) his way helped to ease his pain. MUCH appreciation to the instigators of this spectacular play.
Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS yes i gathered that was just curious if in the past they had a black guy playing one of the four seasons. not a big deal just curious
Great show, but I do not remember seeing the Seasons taking those dance steps. They were very austere when it came to dancing, also quite old compared to other singers. Massi in 1962 was already 35;Tommy, 34;Frankie, 28, and the youngest, Bob, almost a teenager, was 20.
I'm not crying, there's just a stick in my eye. Sad to see this show go. Thanks for all the fun, nerds.
bamboo72498 I'd be crying if there was a stick in my eye
Mark Ballas is killing it!

It’s not that Andrew stands out, but he’s so big on broadway that you notice and focus on him immediately

that time they turned one of the jersey boys into a black man
did they have a black guy playing one of the 4 seasons
This number featured current and former members of the Jersey Boys who play or have played a variety of roles in the show.

Aaron Moritz I believe the guy is just singing the part for Tommy
there's a falsetto and then there's screeching, this opening is the latter....
