OMG thank you Nicole for creating a "day in the life of" which actually contained useful information!! I think I watched about 5 or 6 or these videos, with a similar title from different channels, before finding this one, each almost 10 mins long or more and all I learned from them combined was that most SOC analysts WFH most the time, eat breakfast at 9am, have teams meetings during the day, go for a walk/run at lunch time and then play basketball/go for another run after work!
Hello Nicole. I am a vet such as yourself. I want to ask you about your resume, and job hunting when you ETs’ed. Because I was a 25b also. I am having so much trouble getting my resume together. What resources did you use to land your first job, write your resume, and help with interviews ?
Great video, really enjoyed it. I was wondering, which certifications do you think an aspiring GRC Analyst should have? Also, is it easy to find an entry-level job in GRC? I have a BSc in Cybersecurity and 5 years work experience as Service Delivery Analyst in the financial sector.
Hey Nicole! Any tips on how to move from Helpdesk to either IAM or SOC Analyst? I have no certifications, but I sometimes deal with more than just helpdesk tasks. Any help is appreciated! Thank you for your content btw, very insightful 👏
Hi Nicole, First of all thank you for sharing your knowledge, I really enjoy watching your videos. I had 3 years experience working as IT Helpdesk Technician/Analyst II but I am currently working as clinical operations VA for Health Care company remotely and after watching several of your videos I decided that I need to try master 1 career path for my future. After watching some of your videos I feel like I want to switch career that I can really master but I am confused what should I choose from these 3 options: 1. Cybersecurity 2. Cloud Computing 3. Data Analyst. My Education Background : Bachelor of Technology in Information System. MY GOAL: To master skills from either one of those three options and can work remotely. Question/Request: Would you be able to help me by suggesting what skills I should master and the career path tree based on my experience and goal? Looking forward from hearing your advise and suggestions. Thank you
