imho, Saki greatness as the manager and caring Denmother or big sister of the Nemo might have realized that the band is well good enough to carry on without her. Also knowing how good Hazuki is to let her shine as she deserves. Saki's seems to be wanting to be a solo artist for a good while since Mary's Blood. Jane Satriani?
Thanks for keeping an eye out for any news. I suspect that the claim of creative differences is real, but not the only reason. It’s pure speculation, but I think Nemophila’s management has a heavier hand in their affairs than we see. The fact that Saki severed with them is relevant, I think. Maybe they tried to move Nemo in a direction closer to that of Hanabie, who have had so much success recently. It would explain the out-of-type outfits and the nu metal leanings in the last year. They posted that uncomfortable-seeming video where Mayu said Stuck seemed more like a Rottengrafty cover than a Nemophila cover. Like I said, pure speculation on my part. I think Saki had an important role in the band in bringing in an old-school metal vibe; I hope that doesn’t disappear since I think the mix of old school and contemporary heaviness was key to Nemo’s success up to now…not to mention Saki’s role in the live chemistry, which I hope can be maintained in their future live shows. I’m not underestimating the other ladies capabilities or overestimating Saki’s importance, but I’ve seen bands lose members and be unable to maintain the magic that they had previously. I honestly am pulling for all of them, I’ve loved what they’ve done so far. Anyway, that’s my two cents.
