Since the beginning of the coronavirus emergency, thousands of people lost their job. Many of them cannot pay the rent and are forced to live in the street: they are the new homeless. Fanpage.it cameras lead you through a night in the streets of Milan, where dozens of people sleep in the tents and in sleeping bags in the street. Waiters, assistant chefs, young people abandoned by society and trying to go on as they can. The city fountains turn into showers and laundries, the only toilet left open is used by everyone and the sockets in the streets are used to recharge the mobiles. Searching for cardboards for the night, hiding of the sleeping bags, and looking for something is part of these people’s ordinary life.
