@SayHiToMatthew, great idea showing people how to get around Vegas on free and public transport. Think of the million or so tourists that visit Vegas annually that have disabilities and walking problems and the money they can save on Taxis and Ubers especially if they are using them 4-5-6 times a day! Good job
Oh hey! I used the crap out of that tram on my stay a couple of weeks ago! It was super useful to know there's free transit. I remember that there might be another tram? Train? public transit that's used, but I cannot for the life of me remember it.
Been making an effort to take public transportation more often, so this was very helpful. Driving since I was 16 years old, the natural instinct is to just jump in car. Being on someone else’s schedule takes a little getting used to.
Hi Matthew. It’s a very nice way to get from Park MGM , Aria and Bellagio. You can get off at Aria and walk over to the Cosmo through the Crystal Shops.
I love the Bellagio/Aria/Crystals/ParkMGM tram, I've used it to get to and from the EDC shuttles a few times. I still haven't taken the Excalibur/Luxor/Mandalay Bay tram yet, but I like walking the strip and seeing the sights sometimes. Informative video for those who were unaware of the free transportation!
Nice to know someone also had the idea of taking the trams for the shuttle stops. I'm going to edc for the first time this year and have been trying to get familiar with the trams and shuttle stops since that what I'm taking to get to the event.
Took the tram for the first time my last trip (I remember going as a kid when it was just the Monte Carlo - Bellagio tram and was only for Bellagio guests, or at least that's what my parents told me as we were staying at Monte Carlo). It's easy to access from Park MGM, I feel, at least for people staying there. But the other two stops are a bit confusing. Definitely not faster than walking when you factor in the walk through Bellagio from the station to the strip. But definitely nice to sit for a bit, and walking through Bellagio is never a bad time.
Matt ,you should emphasize, that all MGM are connected more or less and the tram is free to all ,not only to Aria and Park ,but if you want to take the tram to New York from Bellagio, you can, etc.
Honestly, if it were 10 years ago, back when I had been to Vegas only two times in my entire life, I would probably have been confused by this explanation video because it's a little difficult to figure out spatial relationships from escalators, elevators, and tram doors. But now that I'm very familiar with the Strip, it makes complete sense, and I would consider it an excellent explanation video. LOL
@@SayHiToMatthew Agreed. But once you get it, then it's easy... except for the fact that stuff keeps closing and new things keep opening, so there's always learning going on. The day I'm in Vegas and see no construction or remodeling going on will be the day I know the economy is in real trouble.
We got lost in there. So if you are not familiar with the back back of the casinos be careful. I recommend going to the next hotel walking through the casinos or outside on the strip.
All 3 stations have access to Aria (the Vdara one via a quick outdoor walk by the canoes). It is kind of confusing but if you're just trying to go Vdara/Bellagio to/from MGM Park it definitely saves time.
I'm going to edc in May and staying at treasure island I will be taking a shuttle to the event and was looking for a video of the tram stops to see if they stopped near by my shuttle stops which would be circus circus.
If you are standing on the sidewalk at corner of Flamingo and LV Blvd, it's a shorter walk to stay on sidewalk to Crystals than it is to walk through Bellagio to the tram to Crystals and you might see Fountains show. But, you have some carpeting inside Bellagio (easier on the feet), some interesting stores and air conditioning for the hot season and to stay out of the rain when it's wet outside. The real advantage is to take the tram all the way Park MGM and avoid the detour you have to take to get up and over the Aria driveway. Only reason I dislike the west side of LV Blvd.
How safe do you think the area around the rio is? I walked to the 5.11 store on Dean Martin Dr from the strip and felt I needed to be on high alert the whole time.
good video - the elevator is also better in the Aria/Crystals stop to use for access to Aria. Otherwise you go down the escalator (to Crystals) and walk about 100 yards forward and take another set of escalators to the next level down and walk about 100 yards back. So - in review - from the Aria/Crystals stop use escalator for Crystals, use elevator 2 levels down for Aria. On the Park/Arial stop use elevator for Park and escalator for Aria. It is faster from Bellagio to rooms or casino for Aria just to stay on vs. using the Crystals stop (go both stops) as the Aria/Park stop drops you right into the Casino
( WOW where is Everybody at?? You had the TRAM All to yourself that's RARE! It's Still FREE to Ride I'm SHOCKED!! How about the Luxor Tram is that still FREE?? It's Alot better than Walking especially Hot Summer!)
I've used the tram several times on my last 4 trips to Vegas. Usually stay at New York. The tram is nice but a lot of walking just to get to it. I find it faster just to walk the strip. I guess a lot of people think the same thing as the tram is mostly empty most of the time.
@@SayHiToMatthew agreed Matthew, many people I speak with don't even know the Aria Express exist. Same thing with the tram between Excalibur Luxor etc. I enjoy walking, but I know it's tough for some (or in the heat) but in Vegas I literally walk 15 miles a day so the trams are nice when you get sick of walking

Whoohooo i can't wait to see your New video's. Have a good time in Vegas.. 🇱🇺😀
Claudia z thank you
I find this tram in particular very useful if you’re in Vegas in 100+ heat, even with the walk to find it.
I have used the other tram that cost $13 for 24 hrs and the free luxor tram.I did not know about this Tram. Thanks Matthew.

I find them useful especially in the hot Vegas weather!! Nice to stay out of the sun.. I hope I run into you this weekend!!
ValEdwards I’m ready for more Vegas!
Thanks Matthew for sharing the free tram ride.

Yeah I love just walking around!

I took that tram several times to get to Bellagio and Aria.
It's a little hard to find from Crystal's but definitely worth it.
It looks futuristic. And the trams and the stations are so clean.Too bad they don’t service all of Vegas, especially not having one go to the airport.
I've never used the trams, but I'm glad I now know where to find it and th le shortcuts in and out of the stations thanks!!

Will have to use tram one of these days. Looks like it would be fun to use
Good video!! I didn't know we could take an elevator down at Park MGM!!
The MGM resort trams are so out of the way it is generally faster to walk
Love this Tram free clean and easy Thanks!!
Heading to Vegas in mid March...staying at Park MGM so this is great FYI...👍
I am starting to plan another trip for December. I might be staying at the mirage if I get enough money. So this should be helpful
Your videos are very informative

Great informational video looks like you will be celebrating 27k in Vegas
Getting close!

It’s always hard to understand stuff in Vegas until you are actually there lol

Great informative video!! One big thing u said was getting to some of those trams can be a long walk!! Great video!!
Very nice! Thanks for the info.❤
Been to Vegas over 20 times and I never used the tram and I heard they just recently opened
Nice tour.
I'll be staying at the Park MGM in December. Hopefully, the trams will be running then and I can apply these tips.
You said it's free. Last year the tram from the flamgioges I paid 10 bucks per person. It took us to Luxor it was fun though
Thank you

There is no tram to circus circus
Good luck this weekend Hope you get some good videos
you know it! Thanks

I wouldn't walk anywhere off the strip without high alert lol
What would be the faster way to get to the Cosmopolitan from NYNY
Great video idea
What if I want to take the tram to the Festival grounds? Which stop would I get off of?
So im going to Vegas in April staying at Luxor. What is the best way to get around in the strip?

THANKS FOR THE INFO
Walk to Excalibur to take tram to tour seasons
Trams are great when you don't feel like riding the Deuce bus.
When will you be in Vegas next, Matthew?
Tomorrow!
@@SayHiToMatthew thanks for the fast reply bro, will you be there Feb 10th-17th at all?
John Quad no I wont be feb 1-3 only
Have you been to STK?
In Toronto not Vegas
Off the subject of this video...Have you ever stayed at Planet Hollywood? If so...was it ok for you? Thanks!!!!!!
ya! great location been there a few times
@@SayHiToMatthew I'm there in 90 days. Hope to see you at the donut bar.
Probably good if you get caught in a random rain storm... I know they’re rare but being soaked sucks!
Nobody seems to ride them. Weird t me bc I like em bc they’re not busy
Is it still free now?
yeah
Great info! Thank you!
Can you get to the Park Theater easily from Park MGM?
We are staying at Bellagio and going to Park Theater.
Thanks!
Yup it's right there!
yes it is attached to the center rear of the Park MGM Casino - entrance and also Box Office Desk
Thank you both!
We will be on the look out for you Matthew. We are getting there Monday
( WOW where is Everybody at?? You had the TRAM All to yourself that's RARE! It's Still FREE to Ride I'm SHOCKED!! How about the Luxor Tram is that still FREE?? It's Alot better than Walking especially Hot Summer!)

Ok, I understand how to make a compressed air duster, but you still didn't teach me how to hack an empty aerosol can.
😀

Like Disney tram but better

How do you have any idea what other people know?? You sound like a self-centered wife beating prick to me
I didn't know this so I am glad Matthew shared.
I have been to Vegas twice.I did not know about this Tram.
