The cabins are my favorite! When I take the kids to the pool, it always makes me think I'm in summer camp.
Stayed here for my daughters birthday and mother's day last year for a week

We stayed there in the late 1990s in a cabin. It was when they still had a full range with 4 stove eyes and a regular oven. Plus, the front bed was a Murphy bed where the tv is located now. It was a full fledge Murphy bed. We still had the couch on the other wall when it was down.
I cooked breakfast every morning to save on the cost of food. We cooked dinner 2 nights. First dinner was grilled hot dogs, french fries, and i think ice cream. Plus, we made smores. The second dinner was spaghetti and meatballs, salad, and garlic bread. I dont remember what we had for dessert. We also keep snacks that we took to the parks each day. The kids loved eating an ice cream each night when we returned to the cabin. Such a treat. 😂 Especially the Kadozio pops!
I feel cheated, we celebrated my birthday in Oct. Then, I celebrated my husband's birthday there in April. Mickey didn’t visit us either trip! And I love pins!! 😮
I'm waiting for that railroad picture to show up at Cast Connection. I want one so bad! I'm sad the keel boat was removed from Crockett's Tavern. Fort Wilderness is my childhood, I love it! Happy Birthday Abbey!
Awesome..... what a great cabin..so much room.....golf cart looks fun....looks like there is so much to see and do.... liked the sandlot reference... one of my all-time favorite movies...... There is a mobile home dealer in Orlando that is selling these cabins for 50k.

I love Ft Wilderness. I didn't know they were keeping any of the original cabins! I thought it was a complete DVC make over. I'm glad they kept some. Do you know how many they kept?

Not looking forward to the new cabins. We've been on the borderline of being priced out for years. Have stayed there almost ever year for 10 years. Got a quote for our usual weekend (post new cabin install), and it was over $1000 more now. I think we're now done except for super special occasions.
