    helium is already a gas so enthalpy change of atomization of helium should be zero right?

    • @MEGALecture
      @MEGALecture  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes, and it is already an atom in its standard state so nothing needs to be done to make atoms.

      Fraction of 1/2 got cancelled by the 2 to become 1mole of Cl.Hope that it is helpful.

    Thanks for the video.👍👍👍👍.The syllabus of this topic in my country Malaysia is exactly the same with Cambridge A level.So that's correct for that.😁😁😁😁.

      Love your comment. Received 156 comments yesterday. All loving the lectures and how amazing they were. Gets really boring after a while.
      Taking your advice and working hard from now on.

    Sir, clear your concept first before teaching

    • @MEGALecture

      which one please, would love to clear it.

      plus, a teacher never has 100% clear concepts, no one really has 100% clear concepts. teachers get corrected by their students a lot of times, teaching is a two way dynamic process. unfortunately in the subcontinent we are usually taught that students should not ask questions, so they are not used to asking questions, so when it comes to asking questions then either the teacher becomes too defensive or the student becomes too rebellious. which is why your statement adds no value to anyone.

      Sir in enthalpy of atomization, one mole of bonds is broken not one mole of gaseous atom is formed, according to ncert. The case of Cl2 is wrong

      @@adarshshandilya763 ok, these were Cambridge definitions not NCERT. hence the confusion/

      Why definition in india and cambridge different?
      Thermodynamics should have sama standards everywhere.
