Thank you...@240k the original went in my '04...first thing ever to really go wrong....twenty years of reliability...wish they still made these little trucks!
Wonderful video. I’m rebuilding my first truck which is a 2001 Toyota Tacoma prerunner and this video answered all of my questions regarding this part 👍🏽
I didnt, I unbolted it from the tank, because I was replacing the tank. But it was a pain, so I would recommend pulling the tank with the filler neck - if I remember right, all you need to take off is the gas cap and the 10mm bolt in the middle of the neck.
I just pulled one by myself using a floor jack with only the back of the truck sitting on jack stands without disconnecting the filler neck from the tank and it’s a royal pain in the a - - !
Do you know if I need 14 and 19 to take off the hises on a toyota previa LE 1991? Is it easey to change as this one? Any body please. I am planing toexchange the pumpmy self, getting ready buying what I need... Nwxt to OEM, what brand is best for previas? Delhi, denso, etc. Thank you.
Thanks from Cuyahoga Falls
As I was a mechanic for 20 years I have to say this guy is Top Notch thanks for your detailed correct information.
Real good video, shows everything you need to remove the tank and speaks english so you can understand him
Thank you for the simple and straightforward explanation. I'm about to swap in a new fuel pump on my truck. Wish me luck.

That's the way we want to see a video ,,,, no BS !
mate this is how you make youtube video! no BS!
This vid will make it so much easier than I thought!
great video, thanks from Norway !!!
Great video. Very easy to see what you did with the video shots
lacked detail on the fuel filler part and how to disconnect those
What do you do when you put a new fuel pump on what would make the fuel gauge does not work
Excellent good information. Thanks for the video!
Could you pull the bed and get the pump assembly out that way?
Thank you for this...so much.
Thank you.
Does anyone know what the 19mm / 14mm fuel line is called specifically? Mine is in half and I can't find it at an auto parts store. Sos
Was wondering if there is a specific tool that has to be used to remove the other fuel lines besides the one with the 14/19 mm wrench?
Just a pair of pliers
How did you remove the filler neck? Thanks excellent video!

That looked easy. Now, all I need is a lift.

If my seal on gas tank/ fuel pump has been opened- do I need a new seal. I have an 1988 Toyota 4x4 22RE.
Technically yes, if you can find one. Fuel pumps usually come with those. But I have reused old ones with no issues..
NICE
LOL... just remove the bed... much easier.
you didn't show how to replace the pump itself.this did not help me.
