@douglasarthur2673 love seeing a band at the Barras mate never seen a bad gig at that venue. It's like the crowd won't allow it , glasgow gigs are always great mate, like you said something about the city just brings out the best in bands .I'm from Dundee by the way but love Glasgow ❤
Can’t begrudge his success in reaching the ‘Arena’ tour status. However can’t help feeling the intimacy between artist and crowd is inevitability diminished, even for such a charismatic performer.
I think you’re wrong there. I’ve just watched “Red Right Hand” from Leeds a few days ago. He was communing with the audience. Like an American televangelist but obviously joyous rather than weird and creepy.

@duncansykora hadn't seen him since 1989 in Kilburn national ballroom I'm still blown away by this performance, especially tupelo
@StevenCormack-sk2vc loved that! 😊
Have seen them many, many times and there’s always something about Glasgow; that je ne sais quoi which elevates.

Having seen him at Birmingham NEC, I have to respectfully disagree. He had the audience enraptured.
Not convinced
Back to pop music for you. You're welcome back when you're an adult.
