I don’t agree. We have enough enemy types for bugs as it is. If we were to add one, I’d like it to be something we don’t already have.
We could have a nurse bug that lays eggs that could hatch more enemies without a bug breach. The Factory Strider accomplishes this for the bots, so I think this idea could be implemented.
It could also incentivize killing these nurse bugs first before getting overrun as the eggs would keep a horde alive without subsequent bug breachs/patrols.
Hmm what if they were to make it so that some bugs do not spawn in certain mission. This way it would not be too overly filled with variety of bugs.

I have seen missions where I don’t see a single spewer of any type and others where there are spewers everywhere.
This could easily be implemented this way where it doesn’t break the game. I’d imagine that this would be the case for the Acid Charger, as well.
Right! So instead of normal chargers you will see only the Acid version. I'd like to see that.

This is the way to do it! Stop nerfing our tools! Leave them alone and just make harder difficulty modes and new enemy variants! Basically an arms race!
This next patch coming up will hopefully will introduce some buffs because that's the only way to make these enemy and modifiers work.

it work well to just fix the ones that blast area like anti-air rpg for example it generally better cause safe distance you wont die but other then that stop nerfing and just arms race

The toxic gas description is that it's also highly corrosive.

At some point they were going to add special HUD screens for some helmets. So maybe at some point they were going to do more with the helmets. I covered this in another video but the CEO mentioned it somewhere on the discord.
Yea, and people also seem to forget machines are not 100% metal, they also have less durable parts such as rubber, plastics, PCB. Gas can get everywhere and cling/run everywhere.

it's been noted that the 'gas' element, has been clarified to just be a highly corrosive acid (as stated in the orbital gas strike stratagem description), so i imagine the gas grenade will likely follow the same suit

The bug modifiers are already a thing, they’re just randomized, not listed before the mission starts, and they don’t affect special enemies. They’re just streamlining them so people know what to prepare for rather than getting spammed by bile spewers every 8th mission.

ive niticed this all the way up to a month ago. had a random pack of camo stalkers that traveked extra fast. then today thought it was weird that i sae a few crazy fast moving bugs.
We need armor that negates the effects of acid and bile
I'd like to see something like that and as someone else mentioned here. Possibly introduce someway of avoid toxic gas grenades. I'd like to see that overall for toxic or at least slow down the damage.
That would turn some planets into a walk in the park...

You can use the muscle enhancement booster with the new booster from polar patriots to negate most of the bile stun time.
Oh boy so here's my theory:
The "Credit Card" is gonna essentially give a higher Super Credits amount in one drop (similar to the 30-50-100 bundles we rarely find) but its gonna have a higher chance of spawning.
Because realistically, it's been three months, there are total of 4 Premium Warbonds (costing a total of 4000 SC to be purchased) with a moderate chance of having a 5th Warbond next month, eventually, Arrowhead will have to introduce some way of getting easy Super Credits for the new players to keep up with the monthly Warbond release if they "Don't wanna become Fortnite".
That, or maybe it's just a mislabel, or an objective item.

idk I've been able to get all the premium warbonds for free just by playing the game
The only thing i spent money on is the game itself and i already have all the warbonds maxed...
@@Tamachii12Yes, it is not too bad to do, but if someone just gets the game, let's say in August, and they have kept up with the 1 warbond a month model, then there would be 7 premium warbonds. This new player would need to grind up 7000 super credits just to get the ones that already exist, let alone the ones that will be coming out in the future. So having something that drops a lot of super credits would be really nice, whether that be for new players, or returning players
tbh, getting super credits is pretty easy, and even if you unlock a 2 or 3 of them at once, you still have to farm and spend medals in each one of them to unlock deeper ranks. Usually by the time you finish a warbond, you already got enough creds to unlock another, that is, if you do most of the minor points of interest in every mission, if not, giving our beloved arrowhead a few bucks in exchange of some instant supercredits is never a bad option.
To answer the gas vs automaton effectivity. If you read the gas strike description it says the gas is corrosive and is effective against the bots because of it.
Bugs get better and buffed and the weapons get nerfed to compensate. Genius. 🙄

It would be nice to see the drone booster.Actually target samples and enemies like they did in the first game. That would definitely get me to buy the new war bond.
I still have a strange bug where the samples found HUD element has never been there for me. Tried reinstalling and verified files. Still nothing,never heard of the bug from anyone else either.

I would have liked an electric grenade. Similar to a fire grenade, but spewing 15-20 "blitzer" rays in a radius, so damage+locking instead of damage+DoT.
With the bile chargers it's probably going to be more like the bile warriors, a bit easier to kill, but a large explosion on death that covers you in slowing, damaging acid.
Credit card 💳 will be for vending machines
They should have armor exclusive to a rank you get. Like if you reach level 150 you get an exclusive armor to show you got to that rank
No way. It takes away from the fun. Then your grinding for armour. At this time you can play casually and still get everything

The acid charger is cool, however they should make it a little more spikey with acid colored spike tips. Just to make it more distinct.

could be cool if on those difficult levels they give you an extra stratagem you can use.. and also i remember Helldivers 1 had that C4 you can throw , would be awesome if we eventually get that

I think the “heavy fusion repeater” and “heavy fusion cannon” refer to the automaton weapon emplacements.
Also “credit card” sounds like the super credits pickup

For the UAV Booster, it sounds like instead of revealing who is around you that instead you pick a portion if the map to get revealed
To clarify, the enemy types referred to by the modifiers are all in the game. Everything matches existing enemy types aside from the hallucinations. Nurse bugs exist, they’re literally called nursing spewers. Acid spewers exist, and they’re called bile spewers. The hunting bugs I assume are referring to stalkers, though as I said the hallucinations don’t match. Maybe going invisible is a hallucination though. Overall, nothing to get excited about
The acid thrower was one of my favorite stratagems in the first Helldivers. Can’t wait for it to come back.
I think the bug modifier already exist in game. It just didn't have message or notification stating it.
Im pretty sure the Gas Grenade is literally just Corrisive gas like the orbital strike.
I mean yeah they could name it Corrisive Gas Grenade, but i agree to call it Gas Grenade cuz we have that Orbital Strike that literally does the same thing.
Just a quick point the description of the G-36 'explosive' rifle sounds a lot like what the pre-nerf R-36 Eruptor was - range around 120m at which distance the round detonated automatically, 10m radius with dropoff. And the code is pretty similar. It sounds like the same gun with a slightly different code and effect.
Gas is corrosive (in game stratagem description says it is corrosive) so it deals damage primarily by melting you instead of poisoning that is why it is also effective against automatons.
G36 explosive gun sounds like... i don't know... the Eruptor ?!?
Since automatons immune to ion storms I'm guessing they run off of bioelectricity. A castic gas grenade (same as your gas strike) would be effective
I've met many nursing spewers usually shooting the head with any gun will get the job done, same goes for the bile spewers the green one shooting acid (also shooting them with the punisher shotgun stops the puking animation). however, last night I was in a mission with an SMG and the bile spewers spawned and they have medium armor in there heads making my gun useless. even the Helldiver wiki said shoot the head. I guess they implement it in secret.

ArrowHead knows that the players play as Helldivers not bugs or automatons, right? Always buffing the enemies when we get NERF guns.
CEO said a while back he agrees that nerfs are going overboard so there's hope that buffs are coming back
These effects are just the 3 different variations on the bugs. pouncer hunter worlds. heavy armor worlds and spewer worlds.
Dont we already have spewers? I did a few helldives and the big green spewers were sitting back at range and shooting acid out their ass like a moarter like 2 weeks ago. I dunno, im normally a bot diver, dont know much about hi lvl terminids.
Its Acid Gas(Like the orbital Gas) first of all, it does not have any issue vs bots. This is not an RPG, enemy's do not have elemental resistances(The CEO of AH has pointed this out in the past). Orbital Gas melts bots just as easily as it does bugs. Same goes for fire.
Hopefully, this doesn't blow too many minds: *gases can be corrosive*, thus why automatons are harmed by orbital gas strikes. It's confusing that a grown adult didn't know that.

the bug modifiers are alr there might just be showing it on the modifiers now (along with some new enemies for those modifiers) to anyone playing against terminids its increddibly easy to see that theirs different types.
Guys the number of enemy's we need to for this major order is the number for pie. I might be jumping to conclusions but what if that would help in the secret code the gave us a few days ago
I just want vehicles, I miss the motorbike and sidecar from the 1st game! Being able to zip around doing objectives with another player would be awesome. We NEED that apc asap too
Imagine when the charger charges, acid starts spewing all over the sides to dodging to the side would be acid death.
Id love to see automaton enhanced bugs in the future. Like rocket boosted chargers and bile Titans with turrets on their backs. Fire spewing splitters ect..
Interesting, I actually encountered the acid spewers last night, so they must roll some things out early randomly for testing. They are kinda like living mortar launchers. Gotta be careful because they can ragdoll you
the gas stuff is corrosive gas, so it just breaks down anything organic or not. think of pouring a corrosive liquid on computer parts, same idea
The Acid Charger is 100% going to spray causing the player to dive.... Just before the charge occurs which will make dodging the charge much much more difficult.
It seems to me that these "new weapons/stratagems" are actually the weapon/stratagem upgrades that we where missing from helldivers 1. This makes sense as the fusion cannon is very similar to the laser cannon, you got the flak cannon, which is a artillery, that could mean the mortar sentry or the auto cannon, so instead of rapid fire, you'd fire 1 big shell. And then you have gas thrower, which is an upgrade from flamethrower. If they added upgrades, well darn, that might make the game fun to play again. Bring people back.
It could just be a corrosive gas, like the stratagem, which would affect all groups.
9:13 Theese guys kind of worked the same way in the first game as the hunter bugs do now.

Remember about the gas strikes the orbital ones those melted us by accident if you got caught. It also melted the bots too

The bug modifiers are sort of in the game already, they’re just not signalized so you have no idea if the map you’re dropping on has stalkers or not
Acid spewers are fine, as long as they don't have sniping traacking and one shot you with a 0.02s of exposure like the current bile spewers...

What about a nanite gernade, it would serve the same effect as a gas grenade and the nanites do damage over time in a certain radius
It would be nice if it would tell you about what kind of enemies would be common on each drop. It would help to know if there will be 3-5 bile titans at once lol
I'm pretty sure that "gas thrower" is just the Flamethrower. No reason a Gas Gun would have an igniter on the tip.
i find it cool but im concerened about the bug modifier and im being specifical with the first one as i thought it was the stalker, but the stalker doesnt create illusion they fo invisible so it really is now making me think that there will be something new awating.

We need a whole section for reinforcements. Like 5 different types and a upgrade path. It would fit perfectly and be awesome. Also think the patriot exo suit needs to be moved to is own vehicle section so they can add more.
We have bugs with those descriptions. The acid artillery bugs we have. The cloaking "hallucinogenic" fast mover we have.
Its weird yall look at all these leaks, but dont read the easily seen description of the Orbital Gas Strikes that describes that it is corrosive, so its acid, so works as well on bots as it does on bugs. Im assuming the other gas based weapons are going to also be acid.
How does gas take them out well easy answer would be same gas as from the orbital strike which is corrosive

Gas does affect automatons. I have tried. Not to effective but it works.
They should make a water based bug that ambushes you like a crocodile would from the many ponds, lakes, and oceans around the maps.
They don’t even need to be bugs now that I think about it. Just some form of life native to that particular planet or system.
Alright, just give dinosaurs but don’t make them mindless killers. Make them run away when shot at or hide from multiple helldivers or wait in ambush for the unsuspecting loner.
there was a leak of an automoton ship and it kinda looked more like a waterbound patrol boat rather then a space borne but that could just be me coping
They had an acid thrower in the first helldivers so they could bring that back. Also hope they bring back the healing gun or make a healer drone. Tbh the variety of weapons enemies taht arrowhead could add is limitless

True but the developres / arrowhead will use the items at some point. They stated that they do not want to waste assets. (Assuming they have assets for those items.)

I think the enemy variety is fine, but if they do make new types of enemies, I would really like that to be released with new ship upgrades. Also really hoping for cape and helmet stats/enhancements.

Gas in hd2 is not poison. It's corrosive gas. That's how it works on bots.
I like the bugs the way they are. I don’t want them to become as or more difficult than the bots are. Besides we have the illuminated out there still.
I can see someone getting confused if one of those bile chargers has its armor stripped or not.
I was hoping for more of a… massive Queen type bug. Like a Bile Titan queen that can spawn enemies. Maybe that could be a mission objective. “Destroy Bile Queen” an objective that moves around would be nice

I fought a Charger Behemoth yesterday i was so confused when it popped up
They're literally just a different skin.
Run at them, juke them, and stick an EA-Ts delivery beacon to their back.
If you miss, you still get EA-Ts.
If it sticks, try to get them stationary when you hear the audio cue of the delivery breaking atmosphere, as it only tracks the beacon so well. They'll get hit, and you'll look and feel like a badass when the pod pops up and shoves their corpse in the air.
Man, slow down is already a pain because of all the acid type bugs. Not really looking forward to an acid charger but who knows. Could be fun.
So glitch here seems confused about the modifiers he talks about at the beginning of the video... These seem to be planetary/mission modifiers that make a certain, already existing, mob type more common. Hunters/Nursing Bugs/Acid Spewers are all already existing mob types. The modifiers are probably being added due to dailies that require hunting a specific enemy. It is quite annoying trying to kill a mere 8 Acid Spewers and not seeing a single one for multiple mission chains.

Gas works just fine on bots… have killed plenty of bot drop groups with the orbital gas strike.
The credit card is probably just the super credit item. There was another entry for medals in there.
So it'll probably be some sort of rare currency.
When do we get swords?
There's no confirmation on it but the Community manager has said they are talking about it in internal discussion yet there is no promises.
Well, that just proves my theory that rookies have no idea what proper recon is.
Turret with arc thrower would be sick and a lot of team kill. I would like to see rather than tasler tower.
