I know this could be a silly question. Why is transport by flatbed necessary? Is the cranes drivetrain not designed to withstand 100,000 miles? Crane can not achieve the highway minimum speed of 45mph? Other factor?
That’s what winch lines are for, either on the tractor or a wet line driven one on the trailer. A little tug would have made the difference. Once again third world countries is where heavy equipment goes to die.
Oh thanks to your wild comments !. Actually, the crane driver just want to prove to the trailer driver that it cannot load this machine based on past and many experienced . It is under capacity ..

That is why we don't allow most of the a long travel of cranes.
