Do you have any advice on how to get him to shed he has plenty of space his cage is plenty big enough I feed her on time and humidity is right and his heating is right plenty of things to hide on/climb on I just can’t get him to shed.
This is amazing. It's been a dream of mine for a long time to do a paludarium setup with tetras/dwarf cichlids in the water, dart frogs on land and an ATB in the branches. I will get to it someday :)
That is literally the best vivarium I've ever seen I've got a brand new tank exact same as that I'm gonna try and do my own similar to this I just need help setting up and I'm trying to move house first
I saw this piese of art on Instagram first and I'm very glad, you made a video as well! I have the same ExoTerra and a rainforest setup. I would love to know how you heat your tank. Obviously not with the LED light on top. Are you heating the water? If you do so, how and which temperatures do you get in your enclosure and how do your plants, mosses etc. manage the higher temperatures? Thank you for this inspiration
Guitar Gerrit Hey thanks! Actually it is mostly heated with led’s on top wich is about 120-130W (can’t remember correctly) i also have small GU10 halogen spot 20W there but it’s not always on. The temps at the top of the vivarium are about 30-35 and it goes down to 21C at the bottom. Water is not heated. But if it was it would be done with a small aquarium heater or with a heat cable under the vivarium.
Thank you! There is a pump covered in filter material and a ton of plants filters the water but i do change it at times. I have never seen the animals drinking from that water tho
That tank is gorgeous. I'm hoping to build something half as nice for my green tree python. Do you have many problems with it crushing or moving the plants around?

I'm pretty sure my python would eat anything I put in with him. Lol he's a beast, but I'll have close to thirty gallons of water and plan to add some fish. I'd love to see an update video. Cheers

David Vancook yeah! I’ll do one soon :) these don’t care about the frogs. I’ve also kept dartfrogs with B. schlegelii group without problem
