@@Tiversix ok, I also own the MCX8000 dj controller. I like now more cause denon finally released the new firmware 2.0 or 2.1 a while ago and it works great for me with serato. Havent tried it with engine cause I still dont understand how to transfer the songs with the engine software. I understand the usb flash drive or hard drive has to formatted to fat32.
I use it only in standalone because of the lack of power of my pc, but it has some problems sometimes. By the way, download the engine software on the pc and create playlists on the usb, than export, so eject the usb.

I would recommend that you wait a bit, and buy the new denon prime 4 instead when it comes out:))
how do record your mixes on mcx 8000 ? its want external hardware ?
I record them with serato or with audacity with a microphone input on the pc. Serato gives me the best quality with the usb hub

@@Tiversix I use a mac. so thats why I use serato dj pro instead of engine but I want to use engine just in case my mac crashes.
