This is a weapon that's been growing in popularity recently due to restrictions arounds weapons and ammo.. and also buffs to DMR’s as a whole. its a weapon that I've loved using for a long time now.. and today I'm gonna show you why its so good. I feel like a lot of people are gonna watch this and think.. ah yeah I suppose the SVD is quite good but the guns 90k.. might as well just get an RFB.. which you know is totally fair.. but once you got that RFB what ammo are you gonna put in it… m80? because good luck stocking up on that.. you can barely get any decent ammo for it when you want it. in my opinion even tho the SVD has a higher upfront cost… its more efficient to run because the good ammo is cheaper and more accessible. the SVD also has a better platform for modding since you can actually put lasers on it which you cant on the RFB. not to mention that the SVD is still pretty effective with 1 or 2 attachments like you see me doing in this video.

BSG cant ban you for changing your audio to your preferences. Its not cheating, its protecting you from hearing damage because of tarkovs horrible audio mixing.

I have to say for the lower budget player, the svd might be a tad exenspive, but i think the cheap good ammo makes up for it
I’ve been running it loud which makes it significantly cheaper (you don’t have to pay for the suppressor and without that negative ergo you don’t need meta parts in other slots) and it still tears through people since SNB is a 2-hit to every armour in game and since red GP is like 20-25k, you only pay like 300/rnd which is insane value
@@jacuul6735 it also draws people to you like flies if you run it loud, I'll bring it if I specifically want to get people to come to me in raids to blast em with SNB
the svd is hot dogshit the rfb has basically the same/better recoil profile for less than half the cost theres a reason people dont run it

The way you lost the guy in broad daylight isn't a knock to you it's an example of how hard it is to track people at times - and how frickin suspicious it is when people track you like a blood hound.
As an experienced player it's not to hard to track people most the time as the average player all have the same thinking which makes you guys predictable to knowing your next move or where your hiding or what angle your holding. Which is why you see the best streamers peak a corner perfectly aimed on the said angle and instant shoots making it look like hacking from the victims perspective

Maybe try sp Tarkov with some mods if you just need the models and nothing else there should be a good amount of Tarkov models in Gerry's mod as well

I do think if scars aren't looking at you, they shouldn't just turn on you when you aim that them - it kinda ruins some stealthy plays and can alert people to you when you didn't mean to - I dunno, they should remove it

I'd use a variable x1/x4 or x1/x6 scope on the SVD, i wouldn't really hipfire with this gun, unless really point-blank, so the x1 is needed i think.

Gonna have to start using the svd since m80 ain’t available till lvl 4 teaser. LPS strong and semi auto sniper compared to mosin you can’t beat
cool how at 17:56 you can see a laser sight flash on the back of the gun for a frame slightly before he gets shot
Good ammo on first Prapor and free SNB on Woods is only advantage of this gun, any other DMR can be a laserbeam and have a better ergo
While it's definitely no sleeper lol (one of the most popular DMRs in the game actually) it's definitely good

It's a grate gun and the best ammo is a basic low cost craft at lvl 2 work bench. It's an insain weapon on any open spaced map
One habit I'm trying to break is, when hearing footsteps, is when to stop and listen, and when to just move and risk giving away your position, I get caught out 'sound whoring' - tough one

Tbh the SVD was always a great weapon, it just got outshined by the 308 weapons, but the ammo always shitted on anything else in price-and-availability-to-performance
never felt like the SVD was a sleeper, the SNB cartridge was ALWAYS amazing. Maybe its on the expensive side. Real sleeper DMR is the VSS, with its not much lower damage and penetration considering it goes full auto. and the subsonic ammo makes it hilarious to shoot over 80 m cause of no audible crack. Its an art to shoot though

Vss going under the radar with 40% horizontal recoil reduction since it counts as a marksman rifle with good craftable ammo

does anyone know how his charecter says the reload phrase when hes reloading i cant find an actual phrase in the settings, is he just hitting the QUick phrase button "Y" every time he reloads? or is there a way to keybind it to R?
Why would you Want that?
If I remember correctly the phrase only comes up when your character is actively reloading, don’t think you can bind it to anything though
