MAX Blue Line Arriving and Departing Washington Park

A train of Type 1 and 2 cars on the Blue Line for Gresham arrives and leaves Washington Park's 300+ foot-deep tunnel station in the Robertson Tunnel, the deepest metro station in North America and second-deepest in the world. It is below the Oregon Zoo and Hoyt Arboretum. A core sample along the walls puts human history in perspective by displaying a timeline of geologic history along the length of the sample.
