for degrees like psych since they dont offer placements , will the uni allow to work alongside your degree? that is if it does not clash with your classes?

I took foundation in business. Applied psychology and management is essentially like a double degree. I learned applied psychology (i.e., human mind, behaviours etc) and then I took the usual business modules like economics, accounting, management. Since it was a psychology course, I also had to conduct research. I didn’t take pure psychology I took applied psychology and management (they’re different). I learned half psychology and half business modules, as well as how to conduct research. Hello Dayana, I am going to UNMC this September. I have already surveyed the price of rooms in Univillage. I found out that the prices shown in the website are per night. And it is very expensive! Very not logic for students to rent a room for the whole semester. Thus, I think I might have found the wrong pricing. Would you share a little bit about the prices, and how to apply for the accommodation. Thank you in advance!

I guess it’s worth it overall. Initially, I wanted to take business management, but I was also interested in psychology as well. So, that’s why I decided to take this course. It’s like the best of both worlds, I got to learn applied psychology and business. Also, I think a plus point for this course is that students get to learn how to conduct psychology research.

@@whatsneww123 both apartments have kitchen. Univillage can be quite expensive but nearer to campus and a lot of people complaint about the management. Tetris is cheaper i think but need to have a car to travel to campus. Imo, staying on-campus accommodation is better and there’s a kitchen pantry too.
@@DayanaYusrii i wouldn’t mind staying on campus but i feel like i will find it difficult as things such as kitchen,pantry are shared with a large number of people and you know each individual is different so you never know if the person you’re gonna be living with is friendly and understanding or the complete opposite.

I totally get what you’re trying to say. I stayed on campus before. If I want to cook something and I see someone’s using kitchen I would just leave and give them some space to use the kitchen. I think you can just choose to stay at tetris since many students prefer to stay there.

This is a private uni. I had to pay and everything is self sponsored. You might want to consider applying for scholarships if you dont want to bear any expenses.

@@quesiyahxx3599 not bad but can be quite expensive. They have gym, cleaners to clean every floor in the morning, restaurants and mart. The walking distance to campus is around 8 minutes.
