The HGTV Home Town Takeover was a contest in early 2020 sponsored by the HGTV series "Home Town", hosted by Erin & Ben Napier. The object was to showcase Big Sandy's bid to have the hosts choose our town for the makeover of several old historic buildings including some on our main street.

I used to visit my dad's grandparents who lived on Boulder Avenue near the water tower. Very beautiful location. I hope to retire out there. Breathe of fresh air from LA and Dallas.
