- Hello there..
First of all, I'm sorry for the Thumbnail xD
The 2nd upload today is an improvised piece I played sometimes when I was 15 or 16.. I kinda forget about it, when I found Touhou..
Also I want to say a few words. I don't really know what I played. But I can say one thing. Before that I cried.. Not because I'm sad ir something, I played Glassy Sky and this is the song I always cry for some reason.
If my voice would be better, I would play Glassy Sky and sing the lyrics to it.. But unfortunately I can't sing while I play piano lmao
I'm a very happy person.. I'm glad that the start of my new youtube channel was so good.. It feels way better than the old channel, where I had no specific type of video. Every Comment, Like, Subscription makes me so happy!
If you enjoyed my performance, please consider leaving a like and maybe even a subscription :)
Thank you for listening, I wish you all the best and until next time
Please enjoy! :)
Hello there.
This is a long one, quite an unexpected delight. It's like peeking into your mind and watching your evolving thoughts.
I wonder how you can improvise a piece that you've played long time ago. If you're able to recite it, wouldn't that be a composition already as opposed to an improvisation? Haha
Is that you in the thumbnail? That's a funky looking shades!
I like how things happen at 1:38 and it becomes dramatic. Kinda reminds me of some dramatic scene in romcom animes.
5:02 is another segment that I enjoyed. There's a certain draw to that chord progression. A longing feeling.
7:08 reminds me of Touhou somehow.
I think I had a wrong assumption when I saw the title "Improvisation #1"... I thought it'll be a cohesive piece where each segment is thematically connected. (That was my assumption though! Sorry!) However, when listened to each segments isolation, the themes for the individual sections are defined and self-contained. It's more like a medley of your improvisations, rather than a single unified improvisation. Is that correct? Let me know if I misinterpreted it wrongly!
Thank you for sharing!
Hey there..
First of all, I have to apologize. The title is quit uncorrect.. I should have separated them into own videos. I played three different "melodys" and so the videos title should be named "Some Piano improvisations.
This picture of myself, I think I'm one beautiful man! I took this picture when I learned Megalovania and so I actually tried to play it "blindfolded" by looking straight into the camera.
And another thing I forgot to mention.. the two melodys I played that I ment I played when I was younger where the parts at 1:21-1:26 and the second one at 2:54-3:00 . I basically tried to thing of a melody to make it more. A melody that more or less plays more with the theme of those 6-7 seconds.
Well.. I arrange Touhou Themes after all.. I think it might be that some parts are from unknown Touhou Themes.. But that wouldn't be on purpose..
And as always, thanks for your nice comment with your thoughts! It really is interesting to read what you think, and how you interpret my songs!
@@matarajinPiano Lol man, don't have to apologize! I'm only stating out my thoughts, other people may have a different opinion.
Haha, your profile picture shows a mystery man indeed. It reveals something about you but still retains the mystery element. That beard (however short it is now) is probably real this time. How did it turn out? I think I only saw one Megalovania video couple weeks ago. Was that the one where you played "Blindfolded"? Oh, you mentioned in that post you have uploaded several already. Time to do some archaeology expedition!
Ah, so you expanded on a motif from your childhood. As a child, the phrase is short. Now that you've grown and become wiser, that phrase becomes longer and decorated with more musicality. Just as life. Hahaha, thinking too much.
I enjoyed making comments as I listen to other people's music, especially if they put their own spin to it, as long as it's not something repetitive that is artificially stretched over 10 minutes. But whatever I said is not really important anyway, since I'm making fragmented comments/brain dumps most of the time xD The heart and soul poured on crafting each second by the arrangeer/composer/creator of the music deserve recognition and some immersion, but regretfully nowadays people have shorter attention spans and tend to skip around a lot unless it's super interesting, even if some parts are intentionally "slow" for the necessary build-up.
this is beautiful.
Thank you for your comment! I really appreciate it that you think this is beautiful ^^
