Yeah, because it's embarrassing to wet yourself, especially when your parents tend to beat you when you do. When your scared or feel unsafe, wetting yourself happens more often.

Your not alone I’m 13 and I wet the bed. Just stay strong and have a bed time schedule, and don’t drink any fluids like 2 hours before you go to bed. As well wetting the bed could be because of ur... poo... so make sure to drink plenty of fluids through out the and use the restroom even if it’s during class. Make sure to get up at ur alarm (I would set and alarm for 2am). X

@Mara Scuderi well, many will disappoint you, and I'll suprise you, it would never stop, not from friends or family, but if you stop trying, you stop living, take it from my experience, all you need to do, is to try and wait, and trust me, you'll meet someone, a boy or a girl that would be just like you one day, and he/she wouldn't do that. 🙂 to feel sad and betrayed is part of life just as much as to feel happy, excepted and cared for. one cannot exist whithout the latter. 🙂 the only important rule is that you can't give up, since if that would happen you would be stuck forever with the questions "what if..?!" "what if I tried? what if something would have turned out better if I was trying a bit more? ..." and from my experience, those "what if..?" are far more hurting than trying and failing.

I'm 15, I still wet my bed but I'm glad you shared this with us because many more people suffer from this, and it become very difficult sometimes to express your feelings when it's putting pressure, and depression on you. We all have something embarrassing in life but it can't be a secret forever. You're very brave most people don't usually share this especially with humiliation/embarrassment. 🙏

I didn't know what to do, and kept it a secret, trying to stay awake all night, not drink anything but one cup a day, washing my pjs by hand in the middle of the night, it was awful. My advice is, tell your parents. It could be medical related. I'm going to the hospital every 3months now so they can check if my cortisol levels are going up at all. So far no luck, but we will keep trying. After my parents found out, we used drinking methods, clip on alarms, pull ups, anything, until the hospital told me about how stressed I was and that could be the reason. I've had this problem for a few years now though, so I'm happy to talk if you need support. Good luck :)

I wet the bed til I was 14. unfortunately, I went away to a blind bording school, and when I went into the bigger dorms, I was still wetting the bed. it was so embarassing. I also would get in alot of trouble, as noone understood. my parents, my counselors as they were called in the residences. I had an abusive counselor at school, and as I went in the dining room for lunch, she called me a little pisstank in front of everyone. even though one of the others said I could've had a blatter infection. being 40 years old now, I still hate that woman that called me that, as she abused and demeaned me for other stuf as well. @@omgitsme2926 No, they have never seemed to work for me. At the moment I am on a pretty good streak of having a dry bed in the morning so I think not drinking water at least 2 hours before going to bed has helped alot so far.
Tawana Dangare Since i have such a weak bladder i can go weeks of dry nights but then some days i can wake up in large puddles. Thats why i always wear diapers just in case, eventally i’ll get out of them

Don't worry olive, I peed my bed still when I was 8 or 9, and had to where pullups instead of regular underwear. It was embarrassing, and to this day, even when I'm 12(almost 13) my grandparents don't let me drink any water before bed, and make me use the bedroom before I go to sleep.
Aquila Taylor I say it in my comment but I stopped about 3 months ago. When I was around the age 3-6 my parents made me use diapers, after that they put a special plastic in my bed, that made my bed very uncomfortable, but I get used to it. My parents did took me once to the doctor wen I was 7, they gave me a strange aromatizante that apparently would help me, but it didn’t and I lost it somewhere in my room. They didn’t let me drink water after 10pm which wasn’t that bad. When I turned 9 for some reason I started some days peeing my bed and some other days not. I’m 11 now and I stopped 3 months ago, but only it was last week wen I finally took the plastic of my bed, it feels so comfy now :3

I still wet my bed....but it's kinda really hard to keep track of everything....I went through treatments but still they didn't quite work....so we had to stop because of the money issues my parents were having. Then my brother came along and it made everything 10x worse! I'm turning 13 next month...and I gone through therapy just to stop me from crying in my sleep...I still feel like the one kid that cant to anything without doing something wrong...even with the sleepovers, I only cant have limited with going to my friends houses...or they could sleep over at my house...but to make it all worst,my cousin had it and he grew put of it at the age of 12...😞😞

My BFF, brother and my dad when he was a teen had this problem too. I understand you... My brother went to this place called Wet Away. Yes, my brother was also dehydrated
this just shows that evry one of us is difrent and suffer diferent things and it tells us that we can tell other people about things we are going throo and some times that can show us that we arent alone and that other people are going throo the same thing.

I wet the bed til I was 14. unfortunately, I went away to a blind bording school, and when I went into the bigger dorms, I was still wetting the bed. it was so embarassing. I also would get in alot of trouble, as noone understood. my parents, my counselors as they were called in the residences. I had an abusive counselor at school, and as I went in the dining room for lunch, she called me a little pisstank in front of everyone. even though one of the others said I could've had a blatter infection. being 40 years old now, I still hate that woman that called me that, as she abused and demeaned me for other stuf as well. @@omgitsme2926 No, they have never seemed to work for me. At the moment I am on a pretty good streak of having a dry bed in the morning so I think not drinking water at least 2 hours before going to bed has helped alot so far.

Don't worry olive, I peed my bed still when I was 8 or 9, and had to where pullups instead of regular underwear.
It was embarrassing, and to this day, even when I'm 12(almost 13) my grandparents don't let me drink any water before bed, and make me use the bedroom before I go to sleep.

I say it in my comment but I stopped about 3 months ago. When I was around the age 3-6 my parents made me use diapers, after that they put a special plastic in my bed, that made my bed very uncomfortable, but I get used to it. My parents did took me once to the doctor wen I was 7, they gave me a strange aromatizante that apparently would help me, but it didn’t and I lost it somewhere in my room. They didn’t let me drink water after 10pm which wasn’t that bad.
When I turned 9 for some reason I started some days peeing my bed and some other days not. I’m 11 now and I stopped 3 months ago, but only it was last week wen I finally took the plastic of my bed, it feels so comfy now :3

I still wet my bed....but it's kinda really hard to keep track of everything....I went through treatments but still they didn't quite work....so we had to stop because of the money issues my parents were having. Then my brother came along and it made everything 10x worse! I'm turning 13 next month...and I gone through therapy just to stop me from crying in my sleep...I still feel like the one kid that cant to anything without doing something wrong...even with the sleepovers, I only cant have limited with going to my friends houses...or they could sleep over at my house...but to make it all worst,my cousin had it and he grew put of it at the age of 12...😞😞
