- An incarcerated individual came up to the piano and started playing "Jireh" by Maverick City and Elevation Worship. As he played the other inmates became familiar with the song. They soon all began to sing.

These are my brothers at ECI. Spent 4 years there. Glad to see the love has not left. The love of God in that place is immeasurable. Spent many times in the Chapel. Felt when the Holy Spirit covered us during a worship weekend. Though this is a prison, in these moments our spirits were free.

Just be happy for the brother’s testimony and the Spirit of God in a place where it is easy to feel forsaken, angry and bitter. God is enough! Their experience with Him is a blessing and that is enough.
I love how they're just worshipping freely without any vocal training or rehearsal. They don't care about the quality of their voices. They just want to worship God.

Some of them may have NEVER come to know and accept the love of God if they weren’t in prison. Right now they are more free than millions who are not behind bars. They walk around freely but are imprisoned in the shackles of sin. The love of God has set them free. Hallelujah! Praise The Lord!

That guy playing the piano is a GOOD DUDE. I went to school with him. It was an unfortunate situation that literally could have happened to many people. There's a testimony my brother! Lives that will forever be changed for the positive because of you.
My mom always says there are many good people in prison, I guess its true. Its important not to judge. I pray he gets released.

I have done prison ministry, it always humbled me that the guys inside are no different from myself, they just got caught

I’m crying watching this.. I recently had the chance to be a Correctional Officer for the State of Illinois.. I know how it truly feels to work amongst men who have done horrible things. To see these men sing unto the Lord, really moved me ! God you’re enough, even for these men who are doing time! Wow !!

Chills n a tear. This song has superspecial meaning for me. ❤ testimony: a few weeks ago my 14 year old Calico kitty got deathly sick had an infection and needed emergency surgery. I called 10 vets/animal hospitals but there were no openings, not accepting new patients and I got a message from a vet that emergency surgery starts at 3000$. I was heartbroken. My poor cat was stiff, dying n hiding behind the couch. Could barely move. Then I called a place a few towns away n the manager heard the desperation in my voice to save my angel's life. So she said she could do the risky surgery for under 100$ the next day. I brought my kitty in and sang n prayed for her in the car. She lived thru surgery it was 63$ out the door..and on our ride home we heard JIREH on radio and it was our celebration song! When he sings "I don't wanna 4get how I feel right now on the mountaintop" my heart overflowed. My cat is now stronger n healthier now than way before surgery! Alive and well!!! Praise God! ❣
As I watched and listened something that struck me was the chattering that was going on as the leader was trying to sing the solo. But rather than quiet down it sang it to the point where he reached the chorus and the chattering ceased and turned to worship. In life, situations and circumstances will want to drown or praise but in time, our worship will come through. Father I commend these men into your hands, be their advocate, defend their portion; give them a genuine testimony in their situation. 🙏

I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me in my finances too, getting $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!
Isaiah 45:3 speaks of a transference of riches from the heathen to the righteous... I will give you the treasures of darkness and the riches hidden in secret... I receive this for my household in Jesus' name. Amen!

I basically listened to this song on repeat before I went into rehab; it's so anointed. And it's such a blessing to see these men worship like this.
Don't block your blessings by seeking revenge on people that wronged you. Let it go and trust God to fight all your battles and Pray until your situation changes. Miracles happen everyday, so never stop believing in God and His timing. God has a perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and faith, but it's worth the wait. For a couple years, I used to lead weekly praise and worship services at the Salvation Army ARC (Adult Rehabilitation Center) in Honolulu, HI. We're talking 60 - 80 men who were hardened criminals, drug dealers, gangsters, etc... Turning their lives around. To this day, there is nothing more powerful than seeing those men praise God with hands lifted, on their knees, tears running down their faces. There's something so powerful when MEN come together to worship God! Hallelujah!
