WHY THEY'RE CALLED KINGS 1. They're still running in the KPOP industry for 14 years and now. So many scandals yet they're still standing on the stage. Performing. Hitting #1s on korean music streams without promotion or music videos published. 2. They're one of the KPOP groups who go international first. They spread the Hallyu wave all over the world. It's even impressive because internet is not really popular before, but that didn't stop them for being a star. Times, Grammy's, KCA, MTV, Billboards, etc. 3. BIGBANG helped introduce EDM (Electronic Dance Music) and Rap. Before, it was mainly R&B, Ballad, and Pop. 4. They broke the stereotypes. Before BIGBANG, every idols in a boy group were seen as robotic, flower/ boy style and with synchronized dancing and singing. 5. Idols were never considered as artists before with lyricism and production. They even influenced kpop artists of today to compose their own. 6. They're the celebrity of celebrities. Most people adore and are a fan of them. KPOP groups, actors, politicians etc. Mostly from KPOP industry. They're inspired and influenced by them. 7. The SONGS. BIGBANG doesn't create just create catchy songs, Some songs, the lyricism is so magnificent. They're meaningful and filled with emotions you want to feel. 8. Their stage presence. No one can beat their stage presence. The stage is powerful once they're performing. Every performance are eye catching. No lipsync reguired. All songs live.
9. BIGBANG saved YG Entertainment. YG Entertainment before BIGBANG is just a small company. But BIGBANG were struggling for food to eat because they don't have enough money and GDragon composes a song every night. But all the hardships are worth it. 10. Most fans don't idolized them because of looks, just pure talent. They were even called the "ugliest KPOP boy group" back in the days they were debuted. But people don't care for it, because the talent wins. 11. They're the first to use lightstick. Well before it was called "glowstick". Before it was just balloons and color to identify kpop groups. 12. They popularized EPs or Mini Albums. It started when they drop their album "Always" and with the hit song "Lies". That's why they're unbeatable. We can say, they're so many KPOP groups who are popular these days, but BIGBANG are untouchable. No one can imitate or copy beside themselves. Truly the legends of KPOP. They really deserved it.q
Until today, i'm still amazed watching BigBang concerts and live shows. They're truly the King of Kpop & Live Stages.

Only Bigbang always presents extraordinary performances at each of their concerts. They're popular because of quality and they never use visuals as a benchmark to gain popularity. They're the real king of K-Pop 🔥👑
Before you watch this, you should check their MV Bang 3x and Sober. At this concert, their sing with Japanese because that concert live in Osaka. They always use band at every concert.

Bigbang is the king of live in kpop history..
That live band that performed with BigBang is called Band Six.
They performed with BigBang since their 2012 world tour and since then this band was chosen officially by YG Entertainment (which is the company that created and manages them) to be the band to perform with their artists.
They performed with other artists of YGE like for example (but not all) 2NE1, Psy, and Blackpink world tours. They also were the band in the YG Family concert which was a concert with all artists under YGE.
Also about the dancers since you mentioned them. They are pretty famous in the industry as well. In general you can call them YG Dancers, but they are divided in 2 groups:
HI-TECH (male dancers)
CRAZY (female dancers)
The YG Dancers are famous in the industry (as I said) and they have their own social network pages, fan cams and even fandoms (which I believe don't have names but are still fandoms). They are not just backup dancers, they also teach dance in X Academy, which is a dance and vocal academy of YGE, and also work as choreographers.

Still watching. I'm totally thrown because they're singing in Japanese (this was performed in Osaka, Japan) and I'm used to the Korean! The guy with the unique deep voice is T.O.P. The guy with dreads is Taeyang. Seungri and Daesang both have black hair here; Daesang has his parted in middle and Seungri is more bowl cut(? Don't know hairstyles really). G-dragon is the one who had the long hair in the Fantastic Baby MV; here he has blond hair. They change their looks a lot!

CheshireKat gdragon has green hair in this, not blonde (I can see how it looks blonde though). And daesung has dark blue hair.
It was their 10th anniversary concert in Osaka, Japan. Trust me they can beat any boyband in this whole world in live performances. They are just insane, if they were western artists they would have been Justin Bieber level, Taylor Swift level. I mean the earnings and all.
The crowd have more than 55000 people in that dome.

First of all..Please acknowledge that they sing in Korean but this performance is completely in JAPANESE. They speak Korean, Japanese, Mandarin and English,.all Five of them. GDRAGON from BigBang invented the Finger Heart... There's pics of him as a little kid doing them in pictures...now everyone all over the world does them. Their concerts are fro 2 to 3 hours...they are solo artist as well so in their concerts each gets 30 minutes of solo performance in between their performances as FIVE. Their Live performance are better than their MV. MV is good but live is on another level. if you don't mind you could do MV then Live reaction to see the difference. Try their song HARU HARU, check out the MV then check their LIVE for a starter. HARU HARU is like their earliest song.They still sing their old songs, but they are rearraging it to make it sound different, like a new song.

And 2015 mma performance (bangx3, sober, fantastic baby). In this performance, daesung (dark blue hair in the video you were watching) plays drums. Also, the crowd shouted encore, which had never happened at the mma before.

They are slaying their own song in other language! They are singing in Japanese as if it is their primary language! 🔥 If they are not the Kings of Kpop, I think there's something wrong then.
there is a performance of the last song, Sober, where the guy with the long black hair (Daesung) is playing the drums, that was the usual way they performed it.

For info, Both bang bang bang & fantastic baby were sung in Japanese (the concert was in Japan) while sober is in Korean.

Hey Ally, Wassup!! So glad you checked this one out, it's my favorite live BIGBANG! Two things:
1) SOBER, the last song, is about breaking up with someone and being so miserable that you never want to be sober. If you watch the group and the dancers they're stumbling around and acting drunk, it was really creative. 2) Their band is THE BAND SIX, a great American band that was chosen by BIGBANG's leader. This was Osaka. More than 50,000 people were there. They had 60,000 attendees when they were in Tokyo Dome.
They don't lypsinc during live performances. And that's for straight 2 to 3 hours.
The finger heart was created by GDragon. And the lighsticks were conceptualized by him too.

@@yourallybr421 they are the kings of kpop. Going on 14 years (since 2006) in August. VIPs (their fans) mostly stream their live performances. Becos the MVs are awesome but their lives are LIT. they are a group who sounds better live and their stage presence and charisma are superstar level.
BIGBANG's live band is worth it. A whole great concert experience.

Sup Ally BR. Like you I love the J-Rock and K-pop scene :) BigBang is in my opinion No 1 K-pop boy group, even though BTS is more popular. They for sure are Big and come with a Bang :) T.O.P is my favourite, I just love his tone of the voice and his presence. G-Dragon is an excellent K-pop producer and legend. Their live performance are actually live too. They might be coming back soon which is exciting, just with out Seungri.
That was the period when YG had Big Bang, 2ne1 (my fav girl group) and Psy.
I would recommend you to watch a soloist called Alexa her MV's are like a sci-fi movie. Her Debut song was Bomb then teaser AI trooper then Do or Die. It is advisable in that order. She can dance, sing, act, rap, the whole package and she's 4'11 but kicks more Ally's butt then anyone else :)

The show stage and the performance is fire! But these songs were performed on a bare stage by just 2 of the members Daesung and Taeyang in camo fatigues when they were in military service. It was fire then too!! BigBang Kings of kpop!
