The tournament is in full swing. Hercule recognizes some of the people from before and is intimidated, though he has been training. Hercule (Vegan/Febu): 0.2 -Compat Potency: 2 Goku beats some humans until he reaches a fight against Yachu (Yamcha), one of Beatrices second in command. Goku (Demi-God): 1.4 -CP: 15.4 Yachu (Male/Vegan/Realized): 0.33 -CP: 50 Yachu uses a fluid style to fight that relies on open hand strikes. He rushes towards Goku who takes his traditional Martial Arts stance where he holds the forward arm down and the back one further up. Yachu has a short double edged sword on his back, sheathed. Goku has a red pole on his back. They first fight hand to hand combat. Goku is suppressed to Yachu power level of 0.33 Yachu has 1.5x increased fully realized Thought Speed, while Goku only has 1 not fully realized. Due to this Yachu can anticipate Goku's attacks more easily than he can his. Yachu charges in at a lower angle from his left. Goku switches his stance position as he charges Yachu. Yachu is still low to the ground running at 30 mph. Goku jumped 15 feet, 1.5 ft off the ground and lands with his left leg and front flips over Yachu who is still low to the ground. Yachu continued past and turns to his right with a transfer of his momentum. Meanwhile Goku spins mid air so that he lands facing Yachu who is charging again. He had adjusted faster than Goku had anticipated. Yachu pulled back his right arm. It bent just beneath his face as he remained low and struck at the knee of Goku's right leg. Goku steps back and narrowly avoids. He attempts to jump back but Yachu had already grabbed his left leg with his continued momentum with his left hand. He hit it with such force that it sent the leg to Yachu's continued movement rightward and off the ground. Goku was in the process of backward movement from his right leg and was then off balance. He slipped on that leg and spun with the direction of the force. Goku in response lifted that right leg and dropped the left to prepare a downward kick. Yachu slammed his foot onto the arena tile and whipped around. His momentum halted and was transferred into a open palm block and parry downward of Gokus right leg with Yachu's left. Yachu motioned his body away slight from the kick to do this and continued with his right hand. He lifted off the ground. His hand connected with Goku's neck. He forced Goku by it 10ft across the ring where he threw Goku down into the tile, his body filled with conflicted momentum. Yachu unsheaths his sword in a flash and two handed swipes down onto Goku and his arched back supine to the ground. Goku is forced to block with his arms. (The Rule set in the tournament is that at anytime a person can decide to use their weapon.) Goku blocks with his forearms in an x formation. The blade penetrated to the bone where it ceased. Goku hit the ground once more, Yachu continued the swipe down, now positioned to Goku's left side. Goku pulls out his staff and spins at the same time while on his back, with the use of his legs. His legs whipping and his staff forces Yachu to step back. Goku spins to a stand, his staff in hand with the same stance. His right arm drips blood, but he bandages it, something Yachu allows for as he paces around Goku. "A Demi-God..." Goku watches Yachu. Just as Goku finished, Yachu was on the offensive. In the end Yachu stands victorious. He was able to win due to his increased Thought Speed which gives him much better control of his movement. This made it so he was much harder to hit. He also had an ability associated with his Realized status that allowed for him to muscle tighten any wounds he received from Goku. This meant that Yachu didnt experience any reduction in durability, speed and endurance from otherwise crippling attacks, while Goku did. Goku did have a gliding ability that did enable him to get a drop on Yachu but in the end Goku lost. The other matches continue on. Goku is beside himself about the match, even though there was never a time when Goku was superior to Yachu or anyone apart of Beatrice Crew. He is bothered by this because he had become a Demi-God a while back in search of quick power increase, but no matter how much he trained he always remained the same power level and even training too much ultimately hindered his combat potency. He drank from the glass of eternity and could not satiate himself on that. He wanted more. His constant exposure throughout the years to beings like Beatrice and Vishnu (Vegeta) only solidified that. Renee (Raditz) once told him that he was born to be a Psuedo True Evil being as were most of the Saji Race, but that he was raised by Humans and because of that lost his way. Though thus was the case Goku could still sense the Evil inside him, lingering, waiting for a chance to return. (To Be Continued)

I'm so glad that this takes place in the majin buu saga,because then goku at least knows of fusion's existence. Since the what if goku went to Vampa after Namek excluded fusion,potara,super saiyan blue evolution,and mastered ultra instinct. But at least this one has fusion.
The only thing i think you missed when u kept goku has the "stamina drain" is the fact that he was majinized. Being majinized doesnt only make you evil but it also increases your power to new heights and be able take more blows that would be fatal. The reason vegeta became a majin was to also match goku's power not just cuz he wanted to go back to his old ways. That means majin goku's ssj2 and ssj3 should be much more powerful then what they are originally and since a majin body gets enhanced that also means he should have more stamina to keep the ssj3 form. Also goku should've won against fat buu because he was able to fight kid buu who was even more powerful then fat buu for quite a while before getting tired. As for majin goku vs majin vegeta I think goku should've won without any difficulty since he was already more powerful in ssj 2 then vegeta was in ssj2

One plot hole you have made is that raditz and bardock would be late namak saga, implying they did no training while in hell, but also saying goku trained in other world and got stronger, and since bardock had been dead for about 42 years he had plenty of time to do things in hell Edit: it’s arguable that bardock was already about on the same level as maybe recoome or burter or even as strong as goku when be fought the ginyu force

What if the z warriors learned the instant transmition with goku or what if the z warriors trained in yadrat for one year. is kind of impossible but i still think this could change the cell saga as we know,for this all the human z fighters go on to train in yadrat and learn the instant trasmition and even spiritual control.
Well in the android saga they train for like 3 years and Goku knew instant transmission so he could just bring them there to train instead of just training on earth

I think even if he had his saiyan memories, it wouldn't impact his ideals like not killing. As 2 years out of which he probably can remember only 1 year of memories, it would not overshadow around 40 years of his life. Plus King Yemma would probably allow him even though he killed those people. He has saved way more than he killed and then even sacrificed himself. This is just a feedback and I am not hating. This was a great what if.

Man you do a great job on these. I'm not sure of your age, but I grew up in the 90s watching the subbed Dragon ball and Dragon Ball Z and it is so amazing to see all of the fan fics out now. If you could get someone to animate some of these it would be spectacular.
Goku wouldn't need Super Saiyan 3 to pummel Vegeta. In the original Buu Saga, the only way Goku and Vegeta were equal was since Vegeta had the Majin boost. Not only does he not have it but Goku does.
As much as I love this what if I feel like maybe it's should be revamped to be something more like babadi looked through goku's memories and started giving him false memories based off of what Raditz told him and then when goku starts thinking more clearly he starts having flash backs of his true memories of how gine and bardock sent him to earth to save him and he starts preparing to sacrifice himself and in that final explosion it gets brighter and brighter signifying that in his final moments he was son Goku the saiyan who was sent to earth to live the saiyan who was raised on earth and in his final moments I like to think he thinks about all the people he cares about and then in last seconds he sense Gohan's ki and dies knowing he defeated buu and his friends and son were all okay and alive and then the reason he wants to bring his parents back this time is because he remembered how they saved him and then he reluctantly brings Raditz back in hopes too make him change his ways and be better and his mother makes sure he listens and his personality would be slightly different now but he'd be relatively the same he'd basically be more like dragonball super manga timeline goku.

I'm so glad that this takes place in the majin buu saga,because then goku at least knows of fusion's existence. Since the what if goku went to Vampa after Namek excluded fusion,potara,super saiyan blue evolution,and mastered ultra instinct. But at least this one has fusion.
The only thing i think you missed when u kept goku has the "stamina drain" is the fact that he was majinized. Being majinized doesnt only make you evil but it also increases your power to new heights and be able take more blows that would be fatal. The reason vegeta became a majin was to also match goku's power not just cuz he wanted to go back to his old ways. That means majin goku's ssj2 and ssj3 should be much more powerful then what they are originally and since a majin body gets enhanced that also means he should have more stamina to keep the ssj3 form. Also goku should've won against fat buu because he was able to fight kid buu who was even more powerful then fat buu for quite a while before getting tired. As for majin goku vs majin vegeta I think goku should've won without any difficulty since he was already more powerful in ssj 2 then vegeta was in ssj2

One plot hole you have made is that raditz and bardock would be late namak saga, implying they did no training while in hell, but also saying goku trained in other world and got stronger, and since bardock had been dead for about 42 years he had plenty of time to do things in hell
Edit: it’s arguable that bardock was already about on the same level as maybe recoome or burter or even as strong as goku when be fought the ginyu force

What if the z warriors learned the instant transmition with goku or what if the z warriors trained in yadrat for one year. is kind of impossible but i still think this could change the cell saga as we know,for this all the human z fighters go on to train in yadrat and learn the instant trasmition and even spiritual control.
Well in the android saga they train for like 3 years and Goku knew instant transmission so he could just bring them there to train instead of just training on earth

i don’t know if he would be able to use instant transmission to go that far, the Yardrats aren’t very strong so they would have a VERY faint ki signature from that distance. I mean, Goku needed a space pod to get back to Earth for a reason, right? Point is, I don’t think he had enough experience with Instant Transmission by that point to use it to go to Yardrat.

I think even if he had his saiyan memories, it wouldn't impact his ideals like not killing. As 2 years out of which he probably can remember only 1 year of memories, it would not overshadow around 40 years of his life. Plus King Yemma would probably allow him even though he killed those people. He has saved way more than he killed and then even sacrificed himself. This is just a feedback and I am not hating. This was a great what if.

Man you do a great job on these. I'm not sure of your age, but I grew up in the 90s watching the subbed Dragon ball and Dragon Ball Z and it is so amazing to see all of the fan fics out now. If you could get someone to animate some of these it would be spectacular.
Goku wouldn't need Super Saiyan 3 to pummel Vegeta. In the original Buu Saga, the only way Goku and Vegeta were equal was since Vegeta had the Majin boost. Not only does he not have it but Goku does.

As much as I love this what if I feel like maybe it's should be revamped to be something more like babadi looked through goku's memories and started giving him false memories based off of what Raditz told him and then when goku starts thinking more clearly he starts having flash backs of his true memories of how gine and bardock sent him to earth to save him and he starts preparing to sacrifice himself and in that final explosion it gets brighter and brighter signifying that in his final moments he was son Goku the saiyan who was sent to earth to live the saiyan who was raised on earth and in his final moments I like to think he thinks about all the people he cares about and then in last seconds he sense Gohan's ki and dies knowing he defeated buu and his friends and son were all okay and alive and then the reason he wants to bring his parents back this time is because he remembered how they saved him and then he reluctantly brings Raditz back in hopes too make him change his ways and be better and his mother makes sure he listens and his personality would be slightly different now but he'd be relatively the same he'd basically be more like dragonball super manga timeline goku.
