I witness the boats on a daily basis. I take my hometown for granted. Folkestone is a dive, I know that. But it's my dive and I won't have anyone bad mouth it. We are frontline.
I was stationed in Folkestone many years ago, then my beloved daughter was "emergency housed" there for just over 9 months & had her baby there. One of my best friends still lives in Folkestone (& another friend spends much of his time there) I love Folkestone as do they. Disgrace what our "leaders" are doing

I think of another lot of young men who fought and often died in those waters-yes the young fighter boys who knew this country was once worth fighting for. You Liam know that we all do here and it is heart breaking that not even a few good leaders have stepped foward. I do not trust Richard Tice but he talks like he will do somthing and when he gets in we'll find he does nothing. Where are the Colonels the Generals? No one is saying what we are "Enough is Enough " and really meaning it. Giving our country away to people at odds with our customs culture and way of life..
I'm passionate about my town ,so I do understand your rant.I'm so upset about how my town has changed,and not for the better.With the hotels full of migrants and the way the council has screwed the town up.Building houses on contaminated ground(where the railway works were),the turkish barber shops(5 at last check) BOARDED UP SHOPS,ASSAULTS,drink driving offences,drugs,shoplifting,the crimes continue.Our German friend caught the 2.30 ferry back home ,and she said,it's just as bad there,but we took her all over the Cheshire countryside,whats left of it!!She enjoyed it never the less.Two people have been stabbed,one in Bradford,and the other in west Bromwich,.I wonder who the perpetraters are?
Dear Sir, News from Germany April 6, 2024. A 34-years-old Man(Syrian) with a Dutch passport, said a 4-years-old girl who was grocery shopping with her Mam, stabbed multiple times in the neck with a knife. The man was admitted to a psychiatric Hospital, he is incapable of Guilt. Europe has fallen.
Which war had people returned from in 1926? It certainly wasn’t WW1 that was 1914 to 1918. People are sick of the boats coming in, or hearing about them coming in as in this video. It’s easy to video the sea and say this is where the boats come across to my home town. Seeing as you live there and the boats are coming in constantly why don’t you film the actual event taking place instead of filming no boats coming in. I’m not saying you’re lying to stir up hate like a lot of people do, but don’t you think it would be more credible if you actually filmed the boats on a daily basis or even once a week instead of filming nothing.
Liam used to be down on the front line, until he was told not to film as we’re many others filming it all. They were threatened with arrest, and some of them were arrested and had their equipment confiscated, never to to be returned to them…. ,
