However local manufacturing and production of tile is not satisfactory and considerable trend has been towards imported tile. Tiles are being imported from Spain, Italy, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Iran, UAE and other countries.

Never buy tiles from Mahmood Sons in Ichhra -Lahore, they are cheaters, we bought Spanish tiles for our bathroom and they gave us 5 years old with fainted colored tiles with cracks on surface. And when we tried to return they simply refused, a very bad experience with Mahmood Sons.

Ghani tiles has recently manufactured very good quality outdoor/porch tiles in 24 x 24 inches. Available in Lahore at Asif tiles.

whoever wants to install ceramic/porcelain tiles will have to keep 3mm gap in between each tiles horizontally and vertically.. to keep 3mm gap buy 3mm tile spacer than fill the gaps properly

Dear if ceramic water absorption is more than porcelain than why u r recommending in wet areas i.e toilets?
It is not “more” to that extent where you stop using ceramic tiles. It is just for the comparison between both.

Since Feb/March, restrictions on imports has caused a serious shortage of imported tiles in market. However those who have available stocks, price range is in between 1800 Rs/sq m to 2500 Rs/sq m for chinese and malaysian. Spanish above 3000 Rs/sq m
