A nice flick. Nice music to accompany the chase. By this time, the met were using the two-tone siren which came into use around June 1965. Yes, that is the actor who played the doctor in black beauty in the 1970s.
Simon Templar would have made the perfect partner for this Iconic sports car. It was first choice for the TV series, But the story goes, that Jaguar wouldn't supply them with one, One huge mistake in my book !
I'm sure the Jag changes colour near the end of the chase, it goes from a metallic colour to a solid colour. I suppose because it was in black and white they thought they could get away with it.😁
I didn't think the chase was too bad, considering the age of the film. Entirely watchable, one has to make allowances. Watch something that's new now in 40years time and it'll be dated
Really. If you can’t shake off a 3 litre Wolsey (or was it an Austin Westminster) with 4 officers off the law inside in an E Type you have chosen the wrong path in life.
