Put the Metzler cruisetech on 2018 RGS w/ 124 and after two months in my handle bars now shake on deceleration from 40mph to 30mph and the front and back are new. I’m going to balance again but I don’t think that’s the issue since the tires ran grt until Inroad hard on them any ideas
It might be a good idea to check the balance of your rear suspension. As in one is longer than the other. As well as maybe loosening and retighten the front wheel.
I put a set of Metzler CruiseTec on my 2019 SGS Stage 2 few weeks ago. The front wheel was shacking and vibrating really bad. I think it was a defective tire. It felt great up to 70mph. After 70 mph it would start to shake and the faster you go the handle bars shook so bad it felt like riding on train tracks. I had the wheel taken off and rebalanced 3 times and that did not help it, Revzilla refunded me money for the front tire and I put my stock Dunlop back on and shacking and vibration went away. I kept the rear CruiseTec until it wears out. I think I will go with Commander 3 next. Ive had them before and they were great. And yes, I did use the correct reinforced front tire for Touring models.
For a longer lasting, with a sporty ride, I've found the Bridgestone's to be really good. Ran Commanders, Avon Cobra, Shinko and Metz Marathons. The BattleCrusier's are as good as any and better than most in a lot of areas.
I put a Bridgestone on the back , it's been ok , got about 8k on it could be replaced . It's a soft tire , good traction but always has felt wobbly like unstable side walls or something,
Thanks for the video hope you enjoy the new tires
Hi! Thank you! I’m hoping they’ll be good.
I got a set of those last month and I absolutely love them little hard, but I love them
That’s great to hear!

Thanks for sharing the info!
Is that a 21" or a 19" wheel on the front?
The stock 21”

Just put those on mine. Felt different in a good way right away. Less effort in the corners.

I was looking at the cobras as well.
@@2147crew amazing when new. Rear wore to threads at 4-5k, front was cupped real bad. Liked the look and new ride, just don’t hold up.
