Yall should make some crazy outlandishly high horsepower car just for the hell of it like that dam Camaro that has the 2blowers amd 2 or 4 turbos the guy has several cars all maxed out like that hell the one I'm pretty sure has 4 blowers on the mfer it's insane that camaro omg idk how he can see ta drive I know when he does street driving he has ta block sometjing off ta drive it right
@cjracecars Make sure you keep the cubes small. I've made 1570whp with thoes turbos at 20psi boost on a LS. However, backpressure was 3:1 to get it to do that, so we never turned it up that high on the street. It was tuned accordingly, but it really shortens up the window at which the engine will be able to happily operate in, hard and happily, for a long time, with no issues. Whereas, take the same deal at 1:1, it will be much more forgiving.
I SINCERELY enjoy watching y'all figure out issues. To me, watching y'all overcome adversities is what makes your content GREAT! I know it sucks for y'all, but at least you show the reality of building racecars & even the BEST in the world has to make changes mid-build 🤘
8.5 ❤ people have rightly pointed out if start chasing faster n faster times before you know it you will have a mullet situation, pulling it apart to create a full chassis car.. I'd appreciate seeing an 8.50 vehicle that the sustaining of those times and the work done to achieve that is shown.. perhaps the budget part of the build can set the goal of 8.50 bracket vehicle that you learn how to make budget by testing 'budget' parts on as it breaks and evolves .. a test bed for trying to do it consistently on a/with a budget.. could be great for creating content and products.. sharing drag racing techniques in detail for setting up of chassis etc, so we can feel part of the process and learn plus it would be great product development for y'all to sell to those who are so inclined.. appreciate the way you guys work . Much love from the land down undah.. 👍🙊
This is one of my favorite channels now. Cleet,VGG, and CJRC. That's a winning combo right there. Keep up the great videos guys. Love the banter as well.
guys you don't need the 2 into 1 at the throttle body, just tie the two charge pipes together coming out of the turbos and go single 4"/100mm into the throttle body.
As a guy trying to teach myself to Tig weld sure would like to hear a quick machine setting overview as you are doing something like that, maybe just the numbers
Leave it 8.50 for sure. Like you said, just have fun with it. Don't go trying to set records or set the bar so high. This build still seems reasonable honestly. 👍
Man, I LOVE those solder stick connectors. The only thing I do differently with them is I use a little bit of paste fkux on then wires so the solder actually bonds throughout the joint instead of just on the outside.
I love the 8.50 class, and i actually hate bracket racing. But it's just about the max class i could ever afford to build for. But at least everyone is shooting for the same time and the equipment needed as opposed to faster classes is more easily attainable
Holy cow with you two guys together making content it's of the scales this video would hold it's own against anything in the automotive TH-cam world it's like you guys have been doing videos for ten years it's blowing my ful*cking mind how good this build has been I've been on TH-cam since 09 and I can count on one hand the channels that have gel together as quick as this channel has its really impressive!
4:50 yo solder sticks are the best - I’ve been using them for a couple of years and they hold up really well. I don’t do a lot of wiring, but they make things a lot easier and cleaner for me
Keep it 8.50 and use this as a learning experience for drag n drive. You need reliability and consistency to win! Plenty more drag n drive events to go for faster goals later
It’s nice to hear ya say good things about the everlast welders. I have a smaller one I use for home stuff and it’s always worked great and was extremely affordable compared to a miller or Lincoln. I’m sure I’ll get a lot more years of quality work out of the little green guy seeing how hard you guys work them.
19:12 Always a good sign when your weld sounds like flatulence 😂 Y'all should challenge Cleet and Squirrel to a weld off competition and have a real welding instructor test your presentations
I think Ricky had the right idea with doing some pie cuts and weld ins. I believe it would of allowed you to get your piping to be tighter. It still looks good and functions, just wanted to let Ricky know someone is paying attention. :)-
Keep it 8.50 and have fun man leave the 7s to camgino. Could do all types of shenanigans with creampuff, hear me out what if yall did drag/drive and dirt drags, sand drags would be awesome to see it out doing so much
8.50 for Creampuff. I would like to see it become THE bracket truck. Once you start trying to make it faster, you'll be dumping more and more funds into it. Then, you'll regret not making it a tube chassis from the beginning and dump even more into it.
What will happen, you’ll go 8.50s have so much fun. Come home happy, get built engine, go high 7s, put more boost, go mid 7s, then all of a sudden you strip it down and it becomes a full new chassis race car then you’ll make a big block 5 second truck in about 3 years!
Cameron, don’t forget to measure once with a 25 foot tape and cut twice. Also I think your insurance premiums may go up because of the fire possibility. Greetings from Oz.
I think you're better off having a Y by the turbos go into a single tube straight to throttle body. Get rid of that expensive Y adapter you have at the throttle body.
Do the y section down at the turbos and bring one pipe up the center to the throttle body less tubing and would prolly clear the cross bar with out having to cut it
That one sick setup for a budget car. No budget for the pipe. And with mullet trailer should be a go for only towing the golf cart behind cream puff for sick week
Keep it in the 8.5's for this month. You guys have a ton of work to do yet. Wiring including the computer, fuel system, brake system, cooling system / radiator is out back now I think. Trailer hitch and trailer. Parachute!!! Nice work guys and great video.
8.50’s maybe throw a 8.37 in there on accident lol This has now become “how long until a boneyard LS survives top tier parts!” Also love the looks dude is giving as Cameron is just eating up 90*’s lmao He’s top tier funny
Man I love that look ! Why do what everybody else does they look so cool and you powered those things that’s all anybody’s going to see under the hood love it
Thank yall for showing me im not the only person that can have just enough parts here to nearly comllete my fab but change what i want 2011 time then end up with enough pieces laying around o could build 2 of what i started out building lol
4:55 BMW mechanic here and I use those "heat shrink solder connectors" all the time... Just in case you wanna know what to call them on the Jungle site instead of a boutique upcharge site.
If u had a left hand and right hand turbo u would have made the cold side alot easier. But also becomes a pain in the ass for extra parts in the trailer.
you should look into fluid/air dynamics in the way it flows with pipes. tons of science behind it. but basically you want to stay away from 90 degree bends. 60 max
I’m doing the same thing to a big tire s-10 blazer mirror image turbos make life sooo much easier lol (I Need that high rise intake wanna sell it cheap 😂)
16:44 I think yall are over complicating it take the Y off the throttle body. Put the quick clamp flanges back farther on the turbos and run a y charge pipe to the throttle body instead of trying to cram two pipes in there.
We may have to get an engine for Creampuff and see if we can put this old truck in the 7s.
Faster is always better
8.50s, make content around that, have fun. Then 7.50s make more content.
HED is the only option, they're just real good at doin stuff.

Should change the name of the truck from Creampuff to Snowball 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah bro I love that name snow ball is a better name
LMFAO awesome
🎯
I second this!
thats damn sure what it has done
These episodes are getting better & better. Glad Cleet introduced Cam and his company
Why use the y junction make your own out of the turbochargers and straight into the throttle body
I SINCERELY enjoy watching y'all figure out issues. To me, watching y'all overcome adversities is what makes your content GREAT! I know it sucks for y'all, but at least you show the reality of building racecars & even the BEST in the world has to make changes mid-build 🤘
Keep it 8.50 for the first time out...and do content on upgrading it afterwards. Make this a series!
Same as my comment. I say run it as is, upgrade it as push it to its fullest or unroll it breaks then upgrade to another when needed.
8.50 isn’t fast ?
Run it as is until it blows up! Which will be cool on it's own. Then upgrade. You have a lot of new bugs to iron out with suspension and stuff.
Agree with this guy
@@1uniqueproductions yep!
I love this more garage built car. Pretty cool, it’s like seeing NASA engineers work on a prop plane

Whatever you guys do, just have fun doing it. You and Ricky are hilarious together.
If it ain't fun it ain't sh!t.
They do have a good sense of humor lol
Watching Cameron going almost full blown backyard “it’ll be all good” on this build is awesome
It’s been a lot of fun lol.
@@CJRaceCars definitely looks like it.
This is one of my favorite channels now. Cleet,VGG, and CJRC. That's a winning combo right there. Keep up the great videos guys. Love the banter as well.
JH is on that list for me.
I really appreciate that you leave in the thinking and scratching part of building. Figuring stuff out is the best part.......
guys you don't need the 2 into 1 at the throttle body, just tie the two charge pipes together coming out of the turbos and go single 4"/100mm into the throttle body.
That’s the easy way
they are future proofing the build
That’s what I was thinking 🫣
😂 right!
Came here to comment this
As a guy trying to teach myself to Tig weld sure would like to hear a quick machine setting overview as you are doing something like that, maybe just the numbers
We started a second channel to go more detailed into stuff like that. We need to post more over there.
8.50 street truck all day. "Keep it simple."
Hope to see this channel keep growing. Good dudes over at cjrc
We are having a lot of fun with this for sure.
Leave it 8.50 for sure. Like you said, just have fun with it. Don't go trying to set records or set the bar so high. This build still seems reasonable honestly. 👍
I could watch the two of you put shit together all day long 😂
A future project with Motion would be sweet..especially w Brett over there!
Man, I LOVE those solder stick connectors. The only thing I do differently with them is I use a little bit of paste fkux on then wires so the solder actually bonds throughout the joint instead of just on the outside.
Good idea. I use them all the time for boat wiring.
Really like watching the whole trial and error process. Cams humor kills me 😅
I love the 8.50 class, and i actually hate bracket racing. But it's just about the max class i could ever afford to build for. But at least everyone is shooting for the same time and the equipment needed as opposed to faster classes is more easily attainable
I'm impressed with the Motion Industries products. US company and great people!
Very nice stuff.
I really appreciate you guys putting in the bumps in the project when most would not show that. Big respect CJ and the Gang
You should keep Creampuff an 8.50 car. The Camborghini can be your fast car.
Yes,.8.50 is plenty fast for a drag and drive truck. I'm thinking 3000 lbs. with driver?
The Camborghini is a cruiser
Holy cow with you two guys together making content it's of the scales this video would hold it's own against anything in the automotive TH-cam world it's like you guys have been doing videos for ten years it's blowing my ful*cking mind how good this build has been I've been on TH-cam since 09 and I can count on one hand the channels that have gel together as quick as this channel has its really impressive!
Whether it is serious fabrication works or just doing funny things, it's always my pleasure to watch this channel ! 😊
Let’s go 💪🏻
Did y'all catch that when Cameron shouted is because he shocked himself that was funny
4:50 yo solder sticks are the best - I’ve been using them for a couple of years and they hold up really well. I don’t do a lot of wiring, but they make things a lot easier and cleaner for me
“ Budget “ or not, symmetry, presentation and functionality are important, and you nailed all three 💯
Keep it 8.50 and use this as a learning experience for drag n drive. You need reliability and consistency to win! Plenty more drag n drive events to go for faster goals later

Love the content, and also think the black frame glasses suited you better. happy new years
Really starting to enjoy watching y'alls videos! They have come a long way! Keep it up!!
Thanks for the support. We are having a blast.
Pretty refreshing to see a product endorsement that’s relevant to the viewers!
- 8.50 at Sick Week
- Blow up the motor
- Come back with plan for rebuild
- Unveil new motor
- Build to 7 second spec
- Make more content
- Profit
I like it. 😎
@@CJRaceCarsWhatever happens, the over under intake piping must persist. 😂
If the turbos were above the headlights they would fit better?!? Ricky getting his license in Ruby would be nice for a video!!
Hey Cameron just wanted to send out some prayers🙏 for Troy I've known the man for 30 years and he's a good guy❤ love you Troy get well soon
19:12 Always a good sign when your weld sounds like flatulence 😂 Y'all should challenge Cleet and Squirrel to a weld off competition and have a real welding instructor test your presentations

Go all out! Thats why I watch this channel you take everything to the next level! This shouldn’t be any different!!!
"you think if I cut it 3-4 more times I can make it too short" ROFL
Keep it 8.50 and have fun man leave the 7s to camgino. Could do all types of shenanigans with creampuff, hear me out what if yall did drag/drive and dirt drags, sand drags would be awesome to see it out doing so much
Best video of all., showed some awesome problem solving for people with normal rides! Bad ass guys!
Very nice, your on the money, never loose faith, anything is possible with vision and a good eye for detail
8.50 for Creampuff. I would like to see it become THE bracket truck. Once you start trying to make it faster, you'll be dumping more and more funds into it. Then, you'll regret not making it a tube chassis from the beginning and dump even more into it.

Very cool build. I love how much effort you put in to the symmetry. Makes my OCD happy lol!!
Followed Cleet for a while. I'm glad to have found your channel due to the Eagle build, great stuff!
This episode was awesome! I really liked watching everything get figured out and real work getting done.
Would be insane if you make the deadline. Shows how much skill that shop has with how much progress is being made with so few people.
I think yall should keep cream puff a 8.50 car. And dang CJ ur work on cars is amazing .
one of the hardest working groups on youtube!!!
What if there was a clip scene at the bandsaw cutting elbows over and over for giggles, looks like a lot of work to not make an X pipe for the intake.
Go for 7's! Hell yeah brother
Do the y section down at the turbos and bring one pipe up the center to the throttle body less tubing and would prolly clear the cross bar with out having to cut it
Note to self, mount turbos closer to side fenders behind headlights. LOL this was really fun to watch, the struggle is real.
14:44 that's why you bolt turbos to the piston banks where the heads are on the engine
Love creampuff awesome series
That one sick setup for a budget car. No budget for the pipe. And with mullet trailer should be a go for only towing the golf cart behind cream puff for sick week
Same cut resist gloves I used to use working at a lawnmower transmission production factility. =)
Keep it in the 8.5's for this month. You guys have a ton of work to do yet. Wiring including the computer, fuel system, brake system, cooling system / radiator is out back now I think. Trailer hitch and trailer. Parachute!!! Nice work guys and great video.
I like the idea of 8.50. Keep it simple and on the road. And on the track!
Cold side looks awesome guys!

This has now become “how long until a boneyard LS survives top tier parts!”
Also love the looks dude is giving as Cameron is just eating up 90*’s lmao
He’s top tier funny
8.50 that you can still "shop truck" is the move. Let the Cambo be the fast car IMO.
Whatever happens, it'll be good watchin' 🍿
Quite the turbo piping project!!! WOW 😮
Man I love that look ! Why do what everybody else does they look so cool and you powered those things that’s all anybody’s going to see under the hood love it
This is why you put your turbos above the hood, extra clearance.
Looking to see this finished I have a lot of questions regarding front drive accessories and radiator
"I think we zigged when we should zagged"-so relatable lol, great stuff guys, keep the content coming!!!
I think some NRE Mirror Image Turbos would have been the go for packaging. But i believe the budget is the issue.
Mirror image the turbos with a single coldside going to the throttle body.
You guys need a mirror image turbo to go with the standard turbo.
Would make the cold side plumbing a lot easier.
Not viable with drag and drive stuff.
Cut the first 1-1-1/2" from the turbo outlets to get more room and nicer looks!!!❤
I like the crossover idea. Kept repeating in my head
CJRC, y'all rock! Love the cold side running of the tubes. The ending, Lol. Peace 🤘 🍻 💨
That’s a 2.5” v band flange molded in the compressor housing behind the coupler flange. Machine it off flat and pick you up a few inches
Sweet truck guys thanks for your videos
24:57 you could always deform the pipe where the two cross to decrease the total height of them stacked.
i would of put the y connector down by the turbos with a single pipe to the throttle body
Nice build! I ❤those intakes.
The chemistry in this duo is amazing :D can hardly breathe! XD
14:15 I think we all know Cameron’s opinion of pie cuts very clearly now.
What a great video. While I love seeing the high end builds, this one feels much more relatable.
Awesome build
11:00-11:05 is a perfect example of how we communicate here in FL
8.50’s with a 7 on tap whenever you need it!!!
I'm no fabricator, a y piece off the turbos to a single throttle body intake seems a bit easier and less finicky.
If u had a left hand and right hand turbo u would have made the cold side alot easier. But also becomes a pain in the ass for extra parts in the trailer.
Really enjoy watching this channel. Car content that makes you laugh is special
you should look into fluid/air dynamics in the way it flows with pipes. tons of science behind it. but basically you want to stay away from 90 degree bends. 60 max
I really would like to see 🙈 more of the golf Cart brother 🏁
We did an update recently. It will be back soon.
I thought about a bolt in and out X pipe with the blow off mounted to the bottom of the x. Do away with the independent cross over
I’m doing the same thing to a big tire s-10 blazer mirror image turbos make life sooo much easier lol (I Need that high rise intake wanna sell it cheap 😂)
