In my opinion Lalo Guerrero was just as much a rock originator as Louis Jordan, Rosetta Tharpe, Wynonie Harris, Goree Carter, etc… Just didn’t get as much credit until later in his life. Boi was rockin since he was a kid tho! MF Zootin

'Whittier Boulevard' by Thee Midniters. It's similar to '2120 South Michigan Avenue' by the Rolling Stones.
This was the anthem of the east side in the 1960's
Don't remember, it was 8 months ago. The original comment reads "Author withheld" now. I think it was one of the Midnighters commenting.
