i think a good way to balance out the shotguns is to either have low attack/hi stun or hi attack/low stun. rn having both hi with only a 1-2sec reload makes them way over powered.
The zimmermans should just do less or at least equal damage/stun to the starting shotgun as a tradeoff for their longer range instead of being straight better
Actually the best way to balance shotguns is to do it like EVERY OTHER GAME IN EXISTENCE and have every other weapon simply outrange them. In every other game the shotguns are as overpowered in close range as they are in AC6, but in AC6 you're only ever fighting in relatively close range, and assault boost combined with shotguns is busted, and you can't fly backwards.

Did u know, that when Swinburne starts begging, and u get the option to accept or refuse, u can actually accept it then after words, shot him, its an instant death, u won't see the circle thing to shoot at him, but if u just aim at him then shot, as soon as u accept, he dies instantly. I found out about it when I accepted him then accidentally press R2 ( I play on PS5)

I got so mad because I couldn’t beat them so I took a 2 week break. I’m getting ready to grease up the gears and get back to grinding. This is also my game of the year.
