- In this video, I will show you how to create these beautiful masculine cards using the Loveliest Tree stamp set from Stampin UP. I colored the tree with several markers directly onto the stamp and used the thumping technique to create dimension.

I have a joke for you. Well, it's not really a joke but it's a cute saying. A friend of mine worked as a personal support worker and would have to help her patients with their baths. She would tell them... I'll wash down as far as possible and up as far as possible and YOU can wash 'possible'. I thought that was so cute and funny. Oh, and I love your technique for coloring the tree.

Watching the replay (family reunion yesterday). I think I will make this card - but will try softly blending the blue before I stamp the tree - that way I won't have to mess with the mask and the blue will be a little visible behind the leaves of the tree. Love using the woodgrain paper - I have a lot of it and never use it.

Lisa, I’m a long time follower, but rarely comment. Your card was really pretty. I was thinking you could do your blending all over the card first, then stamp the tree. I’m pretty sure it would work. Also, maybe shade green or brown on the bottom for grass or dirt. Your joke was hilarious, didn’t see that one coming. 😂
