You should black out the rear badge to complete the look
Remove the badge
De-badge the rear. The badge is only held on with glue. Heat around the badge with a hair dryer to loosen the glue and get some fishing line or similar behind it and it will come off.... makes the rear end look a lot better.

I swapped mine for VXR smoked ones and it took about 30 seconds to do... two screw caps come off unplug then plug the new ones in. Easiest mod I’ve done.

Hit them with some lacquer mate, get a nice shine to them
I used the exact same spray you have to do the taillights on my car, the reason yours look matt is because you didn't finish with a heavy enough coat... it should actually be a gloss finish when applied correctly
U gotta de-chrome the back logo or even better, de-badge it :))

Add some clear coat and sand it down and sand it, it’ll come out much smoother

Yeah you're right too much tint is dangerous I'm just surprised when I see one. I'm not a big car modifier but a little tint for the lights is really nice.

Need the back windows tinted to blend and a slight tint on the front 👍🏻
you either need to sand (with 100 grit sand paper to geep matt or polish it to get gloss finish.. but either will fix & make look 100% better

This might be a dumb question, but what if I put heart stickers over my headlight before I sprayed and then after I it’s done drying I take them off. How do u think that would look??

Take the damn taillights out man.. it’s like 3-4 bolts. Also should’ve done the wrap, and tape up the whole car if your gonna spray them without taking them out. Tape the whole car m8, now you have overspray all over the car, overspray gets everywhere. 😑 I know your not a pro, but dude come on, take your time, and do proper research... tape the whole car you have overspray all over the trunklid and your interior, and there’s a lot of orange peel in your spray.

watch out mate cause i failed my mot because i tinted my rear lights, they made me take it off, luckily it wasn't a spray and it was just a film over the top so I went back to the place I got them done from and they took them off for me.
I think theres a limit to it

I tried to wrap tint my tail lights the other day too, it was the hardest thing ever and took so fucking long. It looka shit but I'm gonna keep it on for as long as I can cuz it was so hard 🤣😅

I was never really a fan of the matte look, I don’t thicker coats on my corsa, or you could use auto glym polish to give them the shine back
problem with these tints is if someone wants to cash in on insurance they will choose the back of a car with tinted lights!
Do you pay more for insurance if you install diffusers, spoilers, side skirts, light tinting etc?

Looking fire bro I just got the same paint and did my lights. Also looks good if u put it on the stock badges looks better than black out. I don’t understand why you didn’t remove the lights though it’s 2 hand screws each side and 1 cable

Tried to put LEDs into my Corsa interior but they won’t stick first time or with double sided tape, any tips???
Cheap Nail polish remover worked with such ease it removed black tint window paint in my car with no effort at all no one in all the car mechanics on TH-cam even suggest this simple solution
If I was to do this o think I’d use a wrap. No going back after using that haha

Nail polish remover is best to remove the tint spray
You was ment to buy WRAP not tint tint is for glass not plastic u have to get a transparent wrap
If you put some clearcoat on them they will go nice and shiney rather than the matte finish and look a lot more oem

I haven't tried removing it but I believe it should be quite easy if you use white spirit 🤔

@@willmorrison8595 Mate thanks for replying to this I'm gonna delete it. When I commented I was in progress of doing it and at the time it seemed like it was working. But it depends on how it was originally applied. If u applied it properly and its smooth then it'll come off nicely. However one of my lights had lumps of spray and wasn't smooth and that one was a complete write off, as in not even usable. Honestly I'd just recommend getting it professionally tinted. It costs around £50 but the results are perfect and long term, and u can have them off at anytime. These sprays are good short term and cheap, but it's very easy to get wrong and can cost u more over time
2 screw each lamp and a plug 😟 to remove them but anyway at least U improve the chance to someone hit rear of it
You could put smaller Wattage bulbs in as well

If you like the gloss look get some Tcut and polish them up. They will come up super glossy.

Is this stuff meant to come off so easily though? I got a can fro Halfords and you can scratch it off with a cloth, pretty sure it should be washable and able to polish over it.

Get some seat covers!!!! And black out your rear seat windows, works the same as break lights
Put a coat of clear lacquer over the top then they’ll look banging
I did this with mine but than removed it and got it properly tinted just looked abit nicer. But great work
