His own songs? Not necessarily. He can reproduce and improve on his Dad's songs. A lot of times, people miss out by looking for something new, Sunny Ade is big enough for his songs to be remixed and reproduced by 5 artistes.
You have to create your own style of singing. Your father is already famous. It should not be hard for you to be famous too. You have to be creative and develop your own style of singing, and with your father's help, you're going to make it big in no time. Singing your father's songs is not going to help you much.
