I can attest to all Apostle was saying about communicating in Heaven! I went to Heaven and communication was happening but not by mouth. I was communicating through my heart or something. We didn’t use words. Communication was going to through me. It is unexplainable.

To be sure I understand, you are of the opinion that having encounters through dreams, visions, revelations etc with SAINTS who are ASLEEP is witchcraft. You used king Saul as an example. First, king Saul had been rejected by God as king of His people. Second, king Saul CONSULTED a medium, this was after he prayed to God and got rejected. The same medium he had banished from the land as the law of Moses commanded was the one he consulted out of desperation. King Saul's choice was indeed an ungodly one but the difference between that and what Apostle Selman said is the fact that King Saul ACTUALLY went looking for Samuel THROUGH a medium. Apostle Selman did not say he was searching for Paul at any point in time. By the grace of our Lord Jesus, Apostle Paul lived and died righteous. We also know that God, the Judge of all, has perfected the spirits of just men so in all honesty, having an encounter with a perfected Saint who is asleep in Christ is not demonic. That being said, we must be alert to the tricks of the devil. We must vet everything with the Word and the Holy Spirit who is our guide to confirm it is truly a Godly encounter. This brings me to my next point. You said Apostle Selman said the Bible is not the Word of God and that Apostle Paul was wrong in his teachings. I've not heard him say that but if you can forward me the link to the full sermon where he said these things that'll be great. Although I have heard him say something along that line, I don't think we are talking about the same sermon. If it is the same sermon, then this is what he REALLY said. He said Jesus is our pattern Man, Who came to accomplish many things on earth, one of which was to correct our understanding of the nature and will of God the Father. For example, in Matthew 19:1-10, Jesus corrects the idea of marriage and divorce. What Apostle Selman said is, whatever we read in the Bible, we must vet it with the life, nature and words of our Lord Jesus. We see in 1 Kings 22:23, the Bible says that God "has put a lying spirit". We know that lying is not anywhere near our God and so that is enough for us to pause and search deeper for real meaning. Although the Bible is Holy Spirit inspired, it was still written by imperfect, limited men. One very important thing Jesus did for His disciples was that He opened their understanding of scriptures as we see in Luke 24:27,44-45. We as believers must vet everything we read in the Bible with whatever Jesus said and continues to say. That is basically the summary of what Apostle Selman said. Again, if it is a different sermon, do forward the full sermon to me. Thank you Now to the verses you keep referring to. In paraphrasing Luke 16:29-31, the rich man requested that Lazarus be sent to his people to convince them to repent. Abraham stated that they have Moses and the prophets. The rich man suggests it'll be more effective if they see Lazarus. Abraham then said if they don't listen to Moses and the prophets, then they will most likely not listen to someone who rose from the dead. How does that translate to your point? The Jews in the time of Jesus had the scriptures and all manners of prophecies along with their numerous activities with regards to worshipping and sacrificing to God. And even with all the words of prophecies they had, they still did not discern the Messiah when He was among them. They still did not recognize His death, burial and resurrection as had been prophesied. In this passage of scripture, Jesus was referring to Himself as the One who would rise from the dead and just as the people of His time had not discerned what the scriptures said concerning Him, they would not be able to believe Him even in resurrection. This has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with your point of whether speaking with dead people is demonic or not, or if Jesus is sending out dead saints to give revelations to the living. Again, context DETERMINES meaning. I'm not trying to defend anyone. No one sent me to clean anything up like you have insinuated. I'm only seeking to provide you with a different point of view. Bro which other context are you talking about? It can't be more direct than this. When Lazarus desired a messenger from the dead to go back and give a message to those still living in the world. He was clearly given a direct answer "NO!" And why the answer no? Because the world is not devoid of 'moses' and the ' prophets' people who are witnessing the message of salvation here in the world. Therefore Even Jesus after his resurrection did not tell the dead saints to go back and give revelations to those in the world. But he resurrected first and came and commissioned the LIVING SAINTS here in the world to go and preach the gospel . To be sure I understand, you are of the opinion that having encounters through dreams, visions, revelations etc with SAINTS who are ASLEEP is witchcraft. You used king Saul as an example. First, king Saul had been rejected by God as king of His people. Second, king Saul CONSULTED a medium, this was after he prayed to God and got rejected. The same medium he had banished from the land as the law of Moses commanded was the one he consulted out of desperation. King Saul's choice was indeed an ungodly one but the difference between that and what Apostle Selman said is the fact that King Saul ACTUALLY went looking for Samuel THROUGH a medium. Apostle Selman did not say he was searching for Paul at any point in time. By the grace of our Lord Jesus, Apostle Paul lived and died righteous. We also know that God, the Judge of all, has perfected the spirits of just men so in all honesty, having an encounter with a perfected Saint who is asleep in Christ is not demonic. That being said, we must be alert to the tricks of the devil. We must vet everything with the Word and the Holy Spirit who is our guide to confirm it is truly a Godly encounter.
This brings me to my next point. You said Apostle Selman said the Bible is not the Word of God and that Apostle Paul was wrong in his teachings. I've not heard him say that but if you can forward me the link to the full sermon where he said these things that'll be great. Although I have heard him say something along that line, I don't think we are talking about the same sermon. If it is the same sermon, then this is what he REALLY said. He said Jesus is our pattern Man, Who came to accomplish many things on earth, one of which was to correct our understanding of the nature and will of God the Father. For example, in Matthew 19:1-10, Jesus corrects the idea of marriage and divorce. What Apostle Selman said is, whatever we read in the Bible, we must vet it with the life, nature and words of our Lord Jesus. We see in 1 Kings 22:23, the Bible says that God "has put a lying spirit". We know that lying is not anywhere near our God and so that is enough for us to pause and search deeper for real meaning. Although the Bible is Holy Spirit inspired, it was still written by imperfect, limited men. One very important thing Jesus did for His disciples was that He opened their understanding of scriptures as we see in Luke 24:27,44-45. We as believers must vet everything we read in the Bible with whatever Jesus said and continues to say. That is basically the summary of what Apostle Selman said. Now to the verses you keep referring to. In paraphrasing Luke 16:29-31, the rich man requested that Lazarus be sent to his people to convince them to repent. Abraham stated that they have Moses and the prophets. The rich man suggests it'll be more effective if they see Lazarus. Abraham then said if they don't listen to Moses and the prophets, then they will most likely not listen to someone who rose from the dead.
How does that translate to your point? The Jews in the time of Jesus had the scriptures and all manners of prophecies along with their numerous activities with regards to worshipping and sacrificing to God. And even with all the words of prophecies they had, they still did not discern the Messiah when He was among them. They still did not recognize His death, burial and resurrection as had been prophesied. In this passage of scripture, Jesus was referring to Himself as the One who would rise from the dead and just as the people of His time had not discerned what the scriptures said concerning Him, they would not be able to believe Him even in resurrection.
This has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with your point of whether speaking with dead people is demonic or not, or if Jesus is sending out dead saints to give revelations to the living. Again, context DETERMINES meaning.
I'm not trying to defend anyone. No one sent me to clean anything up like you have insinuated. I'm only seeking to provide you with a different point of view. God alone knows His own. It is not within our authority to judge people seeing as we ourselves had to be saved from sin and are in constant need of sanctification.
