I for the first came on DAAD scholarship for research in Germany.That time DAAD gave 30 scholarships to Indian scientists for research for one year, extendable maximum to two years.Many scientists get AvH scholarship for research also.All these scientists have considerable experience at Uni or research institutes in India and are well established financially and socially in India.Such people invariably return back as they are to sign a bond with Govt that they will return back and continue to serve in India for 5 years.These people have a clearcut plan and only less than 1 percent continue to stay in Germany.Those who go to Germany as a student,try to stay, work and aim to get PR.😂
