I saw these guys in 1997 when they opened for Dream Theater. That was a great album and their sound was very unique I thought. I bought their CD and wore that sucker out.
Exact story here. Santa Ana CA. Went for DT and was pleasantly blindsided by BW. They opened with The Oaf. I knew from the opening riff that they were special. That CD has never been out of rotation.
As a Canadian it’s so gratifying to hear Americans who appreciate Canadian music no matter what genre it is but “Big Wreck” is so original sounding & such a power house of a band🤘 Their sound is so thick & full & every note is properly placed to melt your face & keep you coming back for more 🤘
i didnt think he would ever write anything better then this song. 7.2 proved me wrong. can listen to BW all day. obviously ian is literally one of the best singer guitar players alive today, but man this band is so legit. I LOVE THAT SOOOONG, I LOVE THAT SOOOONG
Brian passed away, Dave McMillan has been with him for years now, Paulo is doing his own thing, and Seku Lemumba played on either one or both of Ian’s solo records.
Thank you! I was about to say exactly that. He is playing with way too much flair and adding fills for no reason. He doesn't understand the feel of the song. Fucking awful.
This is one of those rare songs where you instantly fall in love upon first hearing it and it just gets better with repeated plays.
Agree I don't like anything else
What a beautiful song! Thank you Ian and BW!
1st Big Wreck song I ever heard in 90's fan ever since then!
I absolutely love that guy
A Big Wreak classic!! I remember seeing them in 1998 with my friend at a collage bar, i was like damm these guys are good!! Been a fan ever since
Best damn band out there today!
Ian's new suhr sig model is incredible. What a powerful sound he pulls from every guitar he plays with
here checking out this track as well, same day as you. Rockin.
THE G.O.A.T PPL
I have seen Big Wreck 5 times. More than any other band. Incredible live!

In Memory Of ... His Mothers Death ... RIP Mrs Thornley
So underrated
WOW so cool that my fellow Canucks 🇨🇦 made the trek to Phoenix to spread the “Big Wreck” & “Thornley” love! 🎶
this band is so real it hurts!
Love them. From Idaho.
Are they? Cool. I'm in Meridian id trying to get pics of tbe Aurora
They killed it. Better energy than the marquee show a few years ago.

🤘😝🤘
Ian the Man
These guys should be playing arenas
Yup.
What happened? That’s a whole new band behind him? Wtf.
Well the guitarist died, and 1 of them retired from music and the bassist is unknown. There you go.
Dave MacMillan on bass for a good chunk of years now. He rocks and he ain't new. @cwrichardson3

Sounds like Ian needs some vocal rest.
i suppose your vocal technique is perfect.
You think he sounded bad here?? 😂😂😂😂.
The new drummer is bad. Like with the caliber of musicianship these guys have ye makes zero sense to be in the band.

Hardest working band!!! Also the best!!!
